One of the best college in my experience, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) can vary greatly depending on your perspective is a prestigious institution in India known for its rich history and diverse student body. Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) had a mix of historic and modern infrastructure. Here are some key points about the infrastructure at AMU:Historic Buildings: AMU's campus includes several historic and architecturally significant buildings, such as the Sir Syed Hall, Victoria gate .
I m studying MA sociology department of social science, quality of the program matters. Institutions with strong reputations and relevant, well-designed courses are more likely to prepare students for the job market.
The university's main campus is spread over a large area in Aligarh, and it has several affiliated colleges and institutions across different parts of the city. The university's placement cell often collaborates with companies and organizations to organize placement drives and campus interviews. They work to connect students with potential employers.
Tuition and Fees: The cost of tuition and fees at AMU compared to the quality of education and opportunities it provides can impact its perceived value. Public universities in India often have lower tuition fees compared to private institutions.
Cultural Diversity, AMU is known for its diverse student body, with students from various regions, cultures, and backgrounds. This diversity creates a rich multicultural environment on campus.

AMU Faculty of Law offers top-notch infrastructure, well-equipped classrooms, libraries, and sports facilities. Hostels are not so clean and food quality should also improve. Wifi facility is poor and often stops working and needs maintainance.
I am studying a B.A.LL.B (Hons) degree to pursue my dreams in the field of law The reality of teaching can vary among professors. The curriculum's quality and relevance depend on the institution, but it should ideally include recent developments. Being job-ready depends on both the curriculum and individual effort.
The college's placement quality may be subpar, with a low percentage of students being placed. The highest salary package offered could be relatively low, and the average salary might not meet expectations. The placement process could be challenging and unpleasant, with limited support from the college.
The cost of my course per year is just Rs 10,000 per year. Yes, being a public university it is worth and effort saving.
Activities often include clubs, sports, and cultural events. Students, teachers, and staff can be diverse, and it depends on the institution. Location safety varies. Many colleges have security measures and emergency protocols, but it's essential to check specific colleges for their safety measures.
My college has all the necessities and it is very clean and tidy, we have a seminar library in which various kinds of books are available related to law, we have a computer lab which the students and access and work on them.
I am studying law because i want to become a judicial officer. The quality of teaching is quite good in comparison to other government colleges i have heard of. Our curriculum is updated and includes all the recent developments as we study law it is very important to keep up with the amendments in the law.
The quality of placement at my college is been in the past years. Around 40% of the students got placed this number may sound low but in the law field there are various options after graduation such as Litigation, judiciary, Master, other government exams, therefore only a fraction of students wants to join firms hence the placement percentage is 40%
It only costs around 10000 a year which is one of the lowest fee for a law college in india other law colleges and NLUs charge fee around 3-4 lakhs per annum. Yes, i am getting the value for my money's worth.
Our college campus is quite big, it is not possible for one to tour it in only one day. To experience Aligarh Muslim University you would have to take admission here. The students here engage in different kinds of activities. We have a law society, multiple moot court competitions, there is debate club, etc.
One must take Aligarh Muslim University into consideration because it is a central university, the fee for any course is lower than any other college. All the facilities are available to the students. The most important thing for a student when he goes outside his city is how to live in another city? Aligarh Muslim University has many hostels almost every non aligarhian gets the hostel.
The infrastructure of my university is one of the best infrastructure of the countrys the facilities provide us like we have big class room with air condition and we have smart boards with WiFi connection
I am studying master in business administration in financial management because i want to grow my carrier as a financial analyst in future the quali of teaching in our course is so good the professor is so experienced
The quality of placement at my college is so good they provide many opportunities of placement many company's comes for placement the average package of my course is six lakhs per annum and the highest is 12 lakhs per annum
My course is about 22k per year
Campus life is good
excellent
The infrastructure is quite good with all the basic facilties provided. Smart podium, Projectors, Air Conditioners, Library, WiFi, etc. Everything is maintained from time to time, also the hostel provided to the law students is quite good ??
We have experienced well renowned professors, however they do skip some of the classes. The curriculum is quite good as it covers all the major topics required for a law degree. There are conferences and programmes happening in almost every two weeks, there is a moot court that takes place every year in the faculty itself as well as teams are created for national moot-court competitions. However the knowledge that is provided here is not job oriented. You have to work on your skills yourself.
Placements were not very good in the past years, however now it's better than before but still not upto the mark. There are a lot of students who take the path of Judicial Services. The college was not to supportive, one needs to do hardwork on his own.
It is a government college so the fees is minimal. Around 15k for the first year and around 10k for the next 4 years. Hostel charges are not included in this. It's almost as if you are studying free as there is no extra charges
The campus life is quite good and peaceful with the seniors helping with everything. You just have to approach them youself sometimes but at the end they will help you alot. The university itself provides different clubs like debating, swimming, horse-riding and many more. You will get alot of time to do the extra-curricular activities
Good antique university with exceptional department. Might not be as famous as other top tier law universities like NLU's. It has a good future and is a very happening university. The best part is that since the university is so large with 30,000+ students from different courses studying in it. One gets to learn alot from the university.
1. You must have completed Class 12 with a minimum of 50% aggregate, including English and three relevant subjects.
Admission is based on performance in AMU’s BA (Hons.) Entrance Test (not CUET).
The program is a full-time, three-year degree with around 25 seats reserved for women.
To apply, keep an eye on AMU’s official ‘Guide to Admissions’ brochure, register for the entrance exam, pay the application fee (typically around rs. 850 plus potential late fee), and select your exam city carefully.
Hi,
Thank you for reaching out!
If you want flexibility and a reputed university name,an online B.com from AMU is a good choice. It let's you study from home and it is helpful if you've other plans or a job.But there is no campus life and class room learning and some people and employers still prefer regular degrees.
Choose online B.com at AMU if you want flexibility and a reputed name.Choose a regular B.com at a local college if you want campus life, class room vibe etc.both are valid
Decide based on your learning style and future plans. All the Best!
