AMU Aligarh has been ranked at 29th in Medical and 28th in Dental category as per NIRF ranking 2025.
Aligarh Muslim University ranked 34th in the engineering and 69th in management category by NIRF ranking 2025.
Aligarh Muslim University have all the necessary infrastructure needed for successful teaching in classroom with modern techniques. laboratories are well maintained and having all the required equipment in a very good condition which are monitored by then time to time. their are various places in the campus specifically for different sports. an unlimited WiFi is provided. the most importantly the spaces are clean and the food is hygienic in the canteen or in hostels.
I am doing Btech. the curriculum is updated and includes all the recent developments in fields. and the studies in this field make you job ready. study materials and books provided and most importantly environment provided contains all the required material which makes you job ready, and find job even at your ends only.
Training and placement office contact each and every students for the placements and do all the necessary requirements from their end to make the interview process successful. every year maximum students get placed in top companies.
Cost per year is an everyone affordable amount. the facilities in the campus is much more if we compared it with the cost of one year.
College infrastructure is good. It has almost everything fro a to z. Maulana Azad library is there for books and learning stuff. Playgrounds of almost all games whether indoor or outdoor are there for maintaining health. Overall its amazing.
Some faculties are amazing like that of Maths but others need to be improved. We do self study in most of our time with the help of resources. It has made us self dependant. So that's a positive sign.
On campus placements are average like 5-6 lpa. Cse is that branch where placements are the highest. But students are amazing. So they grab off campus placements upto 30 lpa. Last year, a student grabbed 40 lpa package.
Studying in amu is cheap. For such a low cost we here get amazing infrastructure, a very big library, etc.
Campus life is amazing. It's safe and clean. Environment is green. You won't regret.
Fees is too less. Facilities are great. Amazing infrastructure.
The infrastructure of college is quite good. The laboratories are well equipped with topnotch aparatus. There is library also in the campus which has huge number of good books. The campus is clean and hygienic. The hostels are also clean and well maintained.
As I am pursuing B.Tech I can say that at AMU is great. The professors are well experienced and qualified. The academia is updated regularly so that students can get knowledge from all areas of interest. The professors are supportive and guide you through the problems.
For many courses it is good for example if you are doing medical or engineering from here then your chances of getting placed is good. But many other courses, not so much. 70-80% students are placed in many courses but I can't say of all. Average salary is 5-6 lakh per annum..
It's very minimal, as it's a central university everyone can afford it..
There is very big campus ,very friendly environment. There are many clubs like drama club, music club, literary club ,fine arts club and many more . We can explore ourself there..
College Infrastructure is good and comfortable for safe living,The college provides a Moulan Azad Library and 24 hours Wi-Fi for free.Classrooms are well furnished and the labs are well-equipped with the instruments.
All the Teaching and non teaching staffs are well educated. All the teaching staff provide a good knowledge for the students.Ragging in this University is prohibited strictly. Those who does ragging will be punished.
Placements are average,But any have it depends on our talent. However the degree for a Central university like AMU is very valuable as compared to the other engineering colleges ,this may help a lot in securing a good job in future.
As compared to the other universities fees here are very low. Also the mess charges here are very low as compared to other institutions.
Campus is very excellent. All the facilities here are satisfactory.
The infrastructure of college is quite good. The laboratories are well equipped with topnotch aparatus. There is library also in the campus which has huge number of good books. The campus is clean and hygienic. The hostels are also clean and well maintained.
As I am pursuing b.com honors I can say that the education quality at AMU is great. The professors are well experienced and qualified. The academia is updated regularly so that students can get knowledge from all areas of interest. The professors are supportive and guide you through the problems.
The placement cell of our university for non professional courses is not good at all. They dont streamline our studies in a way that we are job ready by the time we receive our degrees. At the completion of our course, we only recieve degree and no offer letter from any renowned company.
In this spectra, AMU stands out other universities because the fees is as low that even a child of less privileged can afford education here. There are many scholarships also given to them which will even cover the cost of their admission fees. The hostel charges are also very low.In comparison to the money they charge ,the perks are way more than you can imagine.
The campus life is multicultural, full of positivity and thrilling. The competition takes place throughout the year, in which a student can show and enhance their talent and skills. The environment of the university is friendly and ragging free.Free interaction takes place between the juniors and seniors. The students are competitive which helps me to be enthusiastic about different things.
The overall experience has been positive.I am glad that I took admission in this university where I get acceptance for who I am and I can change myself into a person who I aspire to become.I get enough support from my peers and professors.I have learned to be more productive and independent. So far my experience is positively engaging.
This university have all the necessary infrastructure whatever the requirements is for the students. We have seminar libraries for different departments.A central library. We also have university games committee for various types of sports.
I started studying in class 11th in 2017 and now I got enrolled in faculty of engineering and technology in Bachelor of technology. The overall experience is fabulous and achieve different types of experience.
Nothing to say right now because I never experience placement and all when I will be eligible and get experience from that then only I can tell about that. However the placement quality is moderate here
This is a wonderful college. The campus is good.Teachers are good.Boys to girls ratio is also good.People studying here are very civilised.I was once admitted here due to Dural venous sinus thrombosis. But they medicated me very well. This depicts that quality of education there is very nice
Class schedule is very tight. But one has to pay a price to be a doctor.Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College is named after Jawaharlal Nehru who was our P.M. and contributed to the partition of India......
You are going to be a doctor. What is need of being placed. You can have your own clinic and earn a hefty amount. And If you want to be placed you can get placement in the same hospital as junior resident.
There is a seperate canteen for doctors.Tgere is special tea for medicos.Hadi Hasan hostel is alloted where food quality is awesome. After third year you get single room in which you can mingle with your studies and prepare for P.G entrance without any disturbance. It is worth it.
Yes my college have all the necessary infrastructure and equipment required by a student. we have air conditioner class rooms and smart boards as well. Food is very hygienic and every thing is clean and neat.
I did B.Com honours from here, teachers are very friendly and cooperative. The quality of teaching is okayish. But they keep themselves updated in their own fields and helps us in making our resume good
The quality of placement at my college is not so good. The highest placement I have heard was of 15 lakhs. The placement process was easy and our college helped us in every possible way. Almost 40% students got placed.
The cost of my course was very minimal. It was around 16 thousands per year which i think everyone can afford. People from all class can afford that much. In my opinion its worth every single penny. Definitely go for this college
I have spent the best years of my life here in this college. Students can engage themselves in various clubs and sports for example eco club, art club and literary club and sports such as basketball cricket etc. The location is quite good near to the hospital and local market
Though Corona ruined last year of my college but still the 2 years I have spent here is worth cherishing for the rest of my life
Yes our university has ample of facilities there. There were libraries, canteen, labs, sport centers, gym , and many hostels..yes we also have free wifi there.. Yes living spaces are very clean, everything is very hygenic.
I m pursuing Geography there. Teaching quality is very good there. We also have smart classes.we also have field work there. Teachers are very supportive and the way of their teaching also very good. They are very hard working.
The placement rate is high there. The process is very easy. Yes, our college is very supportive. Placement is good. Almost 50% students got placed. The maximum package was 25 lac. My senior got placed and they were saying the placement process was easy you just have to be confident enough to face it
It's very minimal, as it's a central university everyone can afford it
There is very big campus ,very friendly environment. There are many clubs like drama club, music club, literary club ,fine arts club and many more . We can explore ourself there
The experience is amazing there, the teachers are very supportive and hard working. You can get many opportunities there to explore yourself .
The college infrastructure is not that good. All the classes are not smart classes. The campus is that big.In case of Womens' College which is secluded from the main campus, the facilities are not upto the mark. Most of the books are not available in our library,so in that case we have to go to the central library which is in the main campus. The professors don't change throughout the entire session in commerce department. There are only 4-5 professors's which keep changing during the entire semester.
The course is upgraded but the Professor's don't teach well.Since, in college we have to study on our own.The professor don't play a major role in your academics. They don't guide you unless you seek help from them. All over I can say that the academics is good because at the end of the day it is dependent on the student that how much he can grasp and gain knowledge.
The placement cell is poor. The college fails to offer placements to freshly graduates specifically to those who were not enrolled in the professional courses. If you are studying any professional course then there are clear chances that you will get good placements depending upon your performance. As I am pursuing b.com(hons) so I won't get any such good placements through my college.
If we are talking about in terms of value for money. Then I can say that AMU is the best institute where you can get education at low rates. The fees are low.You can complete your b.com degree in just ₹22,000.This is the fees they charge you for three years. If we are going to talk about hostel accomodation charges, then they are also very low.Dining charges for one month is as low as ₹1100 per month.
As I have already told that Womens'College is secluded from the main campus. So the campus life is not as good as main campus. But overall the campus of Womens' college is vast and full of greenery. There are many shops inside the campus for our basic needs. There are stalls, reading hall which is air conditioned and gymnasium is also there. So overall the campus life is nice and can be of great pleasure for a student who is willing to take admission in the university.
The university will be of great experience to the people who are looking for education at low cost.AMU is known mostly because of its culture and hospitality. There is great network of AMU aluminus.Great scholars of all the time have passed out from AMU and contributed in increasing the significance of this institution.
1. You must have completed Class 12 with a minimum of 50% aggregate, including English and three relevant subjects.

The program is a full-time, three-year degree with around 25 seats reserved for women.
To apply, keep an eye on AMU’s official ‘Guide to Admissions’ brochure, register for the entrance exam, pay the application fee (typically around rs. 850 plus potential late fee), and select your exam city carefully.
Hi,
Thank you for reaching out!
If you want flexibility and a reputed university name,an online B.com from AMU is a good choice. It let's you study from home and it is helpful if you've other plans or a job.But there is no campus life and class room learning and some people and employers still prefer regular degrees.
Choose online B.com at AMU if you want flexibility and a reputed name.Choose a regular B.com at a local college if you want campus life, class room vibe etc.both are valid
Decide based on your learning style and future plans. All the Best!
