Yes, it is possible to change medical college after 2nd year but it is possible only under some rules by National Medical Commission.

  • Your migration will be granted only on any genuine ground.
  • If a seat is available in the medical college where you want to migrate to, then it is possible.
  • Migration is restricted to 5% of the sanctioned intake of the college during the year.
  • You will not be permitted to migrate to another medical college located in the same city.
  • Reasons allowed are health issue, death of a parent or student, physically handicapped student.

Hello Aspirant,

Yes you can appear for NEET if you are in condition to give means if the condition is not much serious and you think that you can appear for NEET exam and sit continuously for 3 hours then you can appear for NEET UG, however there is no restriction by the competent authorities unless you are COVID positive. If you are COVID positive then some other alternative would be arranged for you by competent authorities.

Also for your reference the NEET Eligibility criteria is mentioned below :-

** You must have passed 10+2 from any recognized central/state board.

** English should also be in your curriculum of class 12th and also you should have passed in it.

** You minimum age should be more that or equal to 17 years by December 31st of the examination year, as per the current eligibility criteria.

** As of now there is no upper age limit for NEET but the case is pending in Hon'ble SC and if the verdict comes in the mean time then the upper age limit may be decided and it can be either 25 or as decided by SC.

Hello Aspirant,

As per the Annexure-6 available in the information brochure issued by MCC, the UR/OBC/EWS candidate should have secured minimum aggregate of 60% in PCBE combination and therefore it is different from that of NEET UG examination where an aggregate of 50% is required for PCB combination for UR/EWS candidates.

So if you have 54% in PCBE and you belongs to UR/EWS/OBC category then you cannot get admission in AIIMS even after scoring the best possible marks in NEET UG, as per the rules. But you can go for other central universities and other medical colleges that have higher cut-offs but AIIMS would not be available for you if you have failed to secure the minimum prescribed aggregate of 60%.

Hello Sir/Mam,

It is quite difficult to make any accurate prediction of your son's admission chances in any particular college because the cut-off keeps on changing every year depending upon various factors such as :-

*** number of candidates appeared in NEET 2021

*** difficulty level of the paper

*** top score for NEET 2021

*** total number of seats available for admission and so on.

But we can help you on the basis of previous years cut-offs, by analyzing data of previous years we can guide you upto some sort of his admission chances in mentioned AIIMS.

So if we go through previous years cut-offs then according to that, he has some(very low) chances to get an upgraded seat in Rishikesh because last year the closing cut-off for AIIMS Rishikesh was 669 marks for OBC category.

Note that the above prediction is made on the basis of previous year's cut-off and the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.

Hi reader ,

AIIMS Bibinagar is a newly built AIIMS while BJMC is the best college in gujarat and one of the best colleges in India.

what you choose depends upon your priorities.

AIIMS Bibinagar is in south India so you may face issues related to food and language barrier while living in the seat . the language problem would not be prevalant in your batch though as students will be from across India.

BJMC will be much easier to adapt as you will know the language and you will be comfortable with the cuisine offered.

AIIMS is centrally funded and is fast developing so even if you opt for AIIMS you need not to worry as it will be developed very quickly.

so if language and cuisine can be issue for you then prefer BJMC and if not then you can go for AIIMS too

i hope my views gave you a clarity

for knowing about your chances of getting a college you can refer

Hello Aspirant,

First of all let's discuss about AIIMS, there are various AIIMS and different AIIMS have different cut-offs but yes if we go through the analysis of previous years cut-off then for top AIIMS like New Delhi, you need at least 700+ score out of 720 being a General category candidate, even for lower AIIMS like Jammu, Guwahati you need at least 640-650 or more marks out of 720, then only you can think of getting AIIMS.

Now for medical colleges of Assam, you should secure at least 540+ marks out of 720 as per the analysis of precious year's data for General candidate.

You can check out previous year's cut-off of Assam from the link given below :-
