Hello Sir/Mam,

It is quite difficult to make any accurate prediction of your son's admission chances in any particular college because the cut-off keeps on changing every year depending upon various factors such as :-

*** number of candidates appeared in NEET 2021

*** difficulty level of the paper

*** top score for NEET 2021

*** total number of seats available for admission and so on.

But we can help you on the basis of previous years cut-offs, by analyzing data of previous years we can guide you upto some sort of his admission chances in mentioned AIIMS.

So if we go through previous years cut-offs then according to that, he has some(very low) chances to get an upgraded seat in Rishikesh because last year the closing cut-off for AIIMS Rishikesh was 669 marks for OBC category.

Note that the above prediction is made on the basis of previous year's cut-off and the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.

Hey,

AIIMS rishikesh is ahead of AIIMS jodhpur currently in terms of PG seats, and they have already given internal preference to their undergraduate students on their PG seats, while AIIMS Jodhpur and other AIIMS are still due to come up with the similar policy.

HOPE THIS HELPS YOU.

Government Medical College and Hospital is a better option than All India Institute of Medical Sciences Rishikesh. This is because of the following mentioned below points:

  1. Government Medical College and Hospital Chandigarh has been recognised by National Institute ranking framework and has been ranked at 29 position by National Institute ranking Framework 2021.
  2. The stipend offered in Government Medical College and Hospital Chandigarh offered is 31000.

Hello Aspirant,

See you can definitely apply for NEET counselling with such rank in NEET UG 2021.

So if we go through previous years cut-offs then according to that, you have very low or almost no chances of getting AIIMS Rishikesh on such marks and category. Because as we go through previous years cut-off data then it shows that the closing rank was around 1300 for AIIMS Rishikesh under All India quota for UR category.

Note that the above prediction is made on the basis of previous year's cut-off and the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.

Hello aspirant.

The cut off for AIIMS Rishikesh last year is given below-

GENERAL- 685

OBC- 675

EWS- 675

SC- 620

ST-590

Hence, if you belong to general category, a score of 690+ is sufficient to get you AIIMS Rishikesh. It cannot be exactly predicted as to how many marks one requires to get into AIIMS or any other college for that matter. It all depends on the difficulty level of the paper- if the paper is easy to moderate, the cut off will go high, like 2020. However, if the paper is difficult, the cut off will go low like in 2016.  A safe score to get into any AIIMS would be 690-700 (710+ for AIIMS Delhi) or for government colleges, 650+ is sufficient.

Hope it helps!

Hello aspirant,

Hope you are doing well. KGMU is a far better choice than any other AIIMS except AIIMS, Delhi.
Its not about being the central Institute, its about the scope of learning you are seeking for in a Medical school!
AIIMS Rishikesh being the central Institute will obviously be better administrated, but MBBS is all about gaining practical knowledge. It is Medical Science, not Administration Science you see!
The scope of knowledge you gain at KGMU is very high. The number and types of patient at KGMU is one to look for! Its right there at the top. Once you reach the clinical years, you will realise why these things matter a lot!
AIIMS faculties are better administrated than state faculties, but the thing is- MBBS is all about how you approach learning your subjects. Teachers can only guide you, its you and only you who has to do all the hard work. So, faculties is not a concern. Moreover, faculties at KGMU are themselves highly qualified!

Hope you find this information beneficial for you.

Good luck!

Hello aspirant

The counseling process for this year hasn't been started yet so we are unsure about cut off of but you can see the previous year cutoff of your state Uttarakhand by clicking on the link given below

https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cutoff-uttarakhand

you can also predict your admission in MBBS BDS and Ayush courses using a Neet college predictor tool

Best of luck.

Hello student,

Cutoff for this year has not been declared and it is very difficult to predict the next year cutoff. But we can get idea with the help of previous year cutoffs. So to get seat in AIIMS Rishikesh in OBC category one must score atleast 660+ marks in NEET UG and rank (Air) must be under 2000. Then there can be hopes for MBBS seat in the institution. But we can't tell anything with certainty. As cutoff changes every year due to various factors such as number of students attempted exam and number of students participated in counselling, difficulty level of exam, reservations and more.

Hope you get some clarification.

Hello aspirant , hope you are doing well
As you might know that the admission in any college through competitive exam is decided through ranking and not marks.
We all know that the competition for NEET is huge and the cut off marks depends upon the difficulty level of the exam as well as performance by other candidates.

Although according to previous year trends , if your rank is under AIR 1000 , then you can surely get a seat in AIIMS RISHIKESH , also this is just a prediction and if you are lucky you can still make it up till AIR 1500 etc.
Also there isn't any trustworthy criteria for minimum or maximum marks in order to get AIIMS RISHIKESH but you should try to score atleast 650+ to get higher ranks like this
