48 MonthsPlaced at the intersection of design and information, Communication Design trains the young designers to establish a compelling connection between viewers and visuals through communication strategies.
Students learn theories, skills and tactics to inspire and motivate users to respond to communication. The programme teaches thinking techniques, creative and technical skills to convey the message through various media. Students develop knowledge about various subsets of this programme such as graphic design, animation and film-making along with technical subjects such as typography, photography, composition and semiotics.
Eligibility Criteria
Minimum 50% marks in class XII (Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination) or its equivalent examination from any stream (Science, Commerce and Arts/Humanities) from Gujarat State Board or any other state’s board or CBSE/CISCE/NIOS/IB with a minimum 50% aggregate marks.
