Yes, Banaras Hindu University (BHU) admission registration is currently open for various courses.

For Undergraduate (UG) programs, the counselling registration based on CUET-UG 2025 scores is ongoing and the last date to apply is July 31, 2025. You can register through the official BHU admission websites: https://bhu.ac.in and https://bhucuet.samarth.edu.in .

And The CUET PG counselling process 2025 is currently ongoing for admission to Postgraduate (PG) courses. BHU PG Round 2 seat allotment cutoff 2025 has been released based on CUET-PG 2025 scores, and Round 3 seat allotment is tentatively scheduled for July 29, 2025.

Good luck!!

You have scored 354 marks in NEET and are applying under the general category. This score clears the basic NEET qualifying cutoff for the general category, which usually falls around 145–150 marks. However, getting admission into B.Sc. Nursing at Banaras Hindu University (BHU) is competitive.

In previous years, the closing ranks for general category candidates have typically ranged between 46,000 and 71,000. A score of 354 usually places a candidate in the rank range of 60,000 to 80,000, which puts you close to or slightly beyond the cutoff range for BHU. But you can still get a seat in the later rounds so do not miss out on the counselling process!

With a CUET score of 1116, you are positioned competitively, though securing admission to Banaras Hindu University (BHU)—especially alongside hostel accommodation—depends on several factors.

  • 1. Course Selection:Cut-off scores at BHU vary considerably by program. Highly sought-after courses such as BA (Hons) Social Sciences, BSc (Hons) Mathematics/Biology, or B.Com (Hons) generally require higher scores due to increased competition. Less competitive programs may offer more accessible thresholds.

  • 2. Reservation Category: Your category (General, OBC, SC, ST, or EWS) significantly influences the cut-off applicable to you, as BHU adheres to government reservation policies.

  • 3. Campus Preference:Admission to the Main Campus typically demands higher scores compared to affiliated colleges, reflecting the prestige and demand associated with it.

  • 4. Hostel Allocation: Allotment of hostels is merit-based and limited in number. Even after securing admission, the availability of hostel accommodation depends on your rank and the number of seats, with women’s hostels often filling up rapidly.

Recommendation:Regularly consult the official BHU undergraduate counselling portal, register for counselling rounds, and list your preferences thoughtfully.

If you provide your intended course, reservation category, and gender, I can offer a more detailed analysis of your admission prospects.

Best wishes for your application process and future academic endeavors.

Hello Aspirant,

The eligibility criteria for admission to IIT Bhu  ,Varanasi is given below:-

At first , General/OBC/EWS applicants must have at least 75% aggregate marks in Class 12  (or equivalent) with PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics).

If the first criteria is matched then go for the entrance exam, Jee main and as well as if you will qualify it then you must give jee advanced and try to get a handsome score which improves your rank and as well as increasing your percentage to get a seat in IIT Bhu by JoSAA counselling .

And

For B.Arch, after Jee Advanced, candidates must also appear in the Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT) during JoSAA  .

IITs also allocate seats reserved for GEN-EWS/OBC-NCL/SC/ST/PwD categories, as per JoSAA rules  .

And you may get a seat for Mtech in IIT Bhu through achieving a good gate score in gate exam through your relevant domain.

Hello,

Indeed, IMS BHU (Institute of Medical Sciences, Banaras Hindu University) provides a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) course. The program is a 4 year full-time course along with a 6 month internship, featuring a total of 25 seats designated for different categories, General, OBC, SC, ST, and EWS, all sanctioned under BHU’s guidelines. Entry into this course relies on the CUET UG exam rather than NEET, and the overall tuition cost for the complete BPT program is roughly Rs 72,056.

You may not see it categorized under NEET related programs on the IMS BHU website because BPT is regulated by CUET UG, while undergraduate medical/dental programs such as MBBS or BDS utilize NEET for admissions.

Hope this helps. All the best!

Hello student,

It is unlikely you will be eligible for the BHU M.Sc. Forensic Science program with this score(118). Generally the cutoff for ST category candidates is 177 to 191.

While the exact cutoffs vary each year, for the most accurate and current information regarding the cutoff for forensic science or any specific program, I recommend checking the official BHU website or contacting their admissions office directly.

Also I recommend to check this article for more information

Thank you!!

Hello,

No, direct admission is not possible in BHU for Class 6. Admission is given through an e-lottery system , not by entrance exam or direct method.

  • To apply, the student must have passed Class 5 and should be between 10 to 12 years of age as on 31st March of the admission year.
  • BHU runs this system for Central Hindu Boys’ and Girls’ Schools. You need to fill the application form online during the given dates.
  • After that, selection is done through e-lottery. If selected, further admission steps like document verification are done.

Hope it helps !

My life in BHU is like life. Filled with both ups and downs.

College Infrastructure

Infrastructure is good but it can be more advanced. Like the classrooms and hostel infrastructure is good but overall the technology can be made better than what it is now. The cleanliness is good but then improvement can be made.

It is good enough for your survival and carrier experience.
