24 MonthsMaster of Science in Food Science and Technology is two years (4 Semester) full-time Centre of Food Science and Technology postgraduate program and it is offered by the Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi.
Eligibility Criteria
A candidate must have passed the B.Tech. (Food Technology)/ B.Tech. (Dairy Technology)/B.Sc.(Agriculture)/B.Sc. (Hons) Ag/B.Sc.(Food Technology & Food Science)/B.Sc. (Dairy Technology & Dairy Science)/B.Sc. (Life Science/Math)/B.Sc. (Home Science in Food & Nutrition); B.Sc./B.Tech. (Food Processing Engineering & Technology); B.Sc./B.Tech in Horticulture (Specialization in Fruits & Vegetables and Post Harvest Engineering) recognized by the University/ B.Voc (Food Processing and Management) having Intermediate degree in Science/Agriculture may be considered eligible, and obtained at least 50% marks in aggregate under the traditional system OR an OGPA of 2.5/4,3.5/5, 4.0/6 & 6.0/10 under the Course Credit System.

Yes , university have all the necessary infrastructure and facilities and equipment for students. All types of laboratory and library facilities are available in the University. Best hostel facilities with good quality of food
