Master of Business Administration (MBA) is full-time two-year postgraduate management degree and it is offered by the Department of Management at Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani.

MBA in Business Analytics programme to cater to the changing business environments. In this program, along with core courses in management, students will be equipped with key skills in Business Analytics. The programme is of 2 years having 4 semesters, out of which 3 semesters are for the course work on-campus and last semester is Practice School / Dissertation. The curriculum of this MBA in Business Analytics programme is an optimum combination of core, electives and industrial component / research in the form of Practice School / dissertation. The pedagogy followed in the courses emphasizes that at least 50% of the sessions are devoted to cases / projects / simulations / laboratories / other experiential components

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates holding a bachelor’s degree in any discipline or its equivalent with at least 60% aggregate marks.
The candidate should have studied at least one subject in Mathematics or Statistics at the high school (10+2) or higher level.
Candidates with prior exposure to a programming language are desirable.
Students who are in the final year of their Qualifying Degree programme are also eligible to apply, provided they can submit the original copies of the results till 1st October, and fulfil other criteria.

Admission Details

Candidates will be required to appear for the Business Analytics Aptitude Test (BAAT) conducted by BITS Pilani. Candidates will be shortlisted for Personal Interview based on their performance in the Business Analytics Aptitude Test (BAAT). Final selection will be based on overall performance in (i) the Business Analytics Aptitude Test (BAAT), (ii) Personal Interview and (iii) CAT* / XAT / GMAT (if available), along with prior work experience, and previous academic history.

College Infrastructure

The infrastructure of the MBA students at BITS Pilani is well-organized and up-to-date. Classrooms are spacious, with projectors and audio-visual systems installed, enhancing lectures. The campus Wi-Fi is satisfactory, though speed reduces slightly in times of high usage. Seminar halls, case study rooms, and group discussion rooms are available for management students.

The BITS Pilani campus has a great infrastructure.The campus looks so beautiful with greeneries and peacocks dancing around.The classrooms are air-conditioned and well-maintained.The classrooms have all digital amenities that make the learning experience enjoyable.The hostel rooms are spacious and well-maintained.

College Infrastructure

BITS Pilani's campus has top-notch infrastructure. The campus has everything students need to learn and enjoy their MBA journey. Hostel facilities are generally adequate, but single rooms do not have air conditioning. The food served in the mess is also decent. It is possible to find many food outlets that are open until 2 am in the morning. The gym and sports facilities are good, and you can choose which sports you want to play.
