Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in Economics is a Full-time one-year and six month postgraduate research program and it is offered by the Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Aurangabad.


Eligibility Criteria

M Phil. admission is given according to social reservation policy of the Government of Maharashtra and as per the following weightage scheme:  

  • 50 Percent weightage is given to the marks obtained in the entrance test based on syllabus of M.A. Economics course conducted by the department.
  • 20 percentage weightage is given to marks obtained at U.G.
  • 30 percentage weightage is given to marks obtained at P.G.

Admission Details

Admission to the M Phil programme, students are required to clear Common Entrance Test.
