RTMNU university campus has decent infrastructure with modern labs and a big library. Classrooms are okay but a bit small and crowded. Wi-Fi is available. Hostels are clean but limited availabbility. Overall, facilities are good for studies
The M.Sc. Biochemistry course is well-designed, with updated syllabus. Teachers are knowledgeable but some lack engagement. Practical sessions are good, but more handson training needed. Exams are fair and research focus is strong.
Placements for M.Sc. Biochemistry are average. Few companies like Dr. Reddy’s visit. Most students have to find jobs off-campus. The placement cell helps with training but opportunities are limited. Starting salary is around 3-4 LPA.
Tuition fee is low, around INR 30,000 for two years. Affordable compared to other colleges. Quality education and decent facilities make it worth the cost. Good option for budget-conscious students.
Campus is green and lively, with sports facilities like cricket and gym. Cultural events and clubs keep things fun. Canteen gets crowded. Nagpur’s location is central but not very urban. Student life is decent.
As it is the main University, Campus is big equipped with almost everything like Labs, Separate Department Libraries etc. Classrooms were equipped with projectors. University has it all. Hostels, Sports Grounds. Wi-Fi was not there but we had a lab with computers equipped for research and practice for data analysis software. Classrooms are well maintained and projectors are regularly used as all lecturers use them to display their presentation regarding to topic being taught. We have Canteen too. It is visited by all departments and has hygienic food. Cleanliness is maintained and we have big staff on regular clean up duty.
I studied Economics here for 2 years. Even though 1st year was online the 2nd year was totally offline. we met teachers and were taught in classrooms. quality of teaching is really good. all teachers are well experienced. we also have teachers who are there on hourly basis. They teach the 1st year students and mentored by senior teachers of the department. Curriculum is updated and new thing that night not be in the curriculum but are new in the field and relevant for the student are taught by some teacher as a guest lecture or like a conference.
Placement cell is present and they help students get placed. Overseeing teacher of the placement cell tries to get as many students placed as possible but the economics as a field is on so placement friendly. It is more research focused according to the curriculum being taught. Still many got placed in companies and some got internship opportunities in govt run firms.
It is value for money as is it a public university yearly fees is low. low income students can attend it easily. and its not far from city center so commute is very less. Teachers are good, Infrastructure is well developed, and placement opportunities is provided. Per year cost may vary but it is not more than 10,000.
Campus life is very good, Commute is less. Campus is filled with lush greenery. All the facilities required by a student is the and provided without any hassle. Teachers are supporting . It is safe for women as the is always security present and are on patrol duty. Hospitals are also near by in case of emergency.
RTMNU campus has modern classrooms, and a great library with journals. Studio is top-notch for mass communication. No sports ground, canteen food is okay. Admin section is slow like govt office, hostel is decent. RTMNU Campus is clean but parking is tight. I studied regular, good setup despite HOD issues.
MA Mass Comm course teaches journalism, media skills. Faculty okay, but not like when Dr. Haque was HOD. I attended classes daily, practical focus good. Current HOD, Dr. Dhawankar, not great, needs better methods. Exams fair, workshops help. Learning decent.
Placements are average, 30-40% get jobs in media houses, like TOI, local channels, 3-5 LPA. No internship from college, I found own. Placement cell weak, needs better connections. Dr. Haque’s time was better. I’m in a teaching job now.
Fees is 3,400-24,000 which is low for MA Mass Comm. Library, studio worth it. I attend regular, learning okay. Weak placements, admin issues hurt value. Scholarships help. Good for budget media degree if you work hard, despite HOD concerns.
Campus is green and lively, I join media fests, clubs regular. Events fun, no sports ground. Canteen average, friendly vibe, no ragging. Library, studio awesome for mass comm. Admin slow, but I enjoyed my second-year activities. Great for media lovers.
Well the infrastructure at SK Porwal College, Kamptee isn't that good. Most of the Doors, Windows and Desks are broken and toilets are dirty. Although the students to be blamed for this. Campus is good and well maintained. The playground is also good.
Academically the quality of teaching is good and teaching staff is also experienced and the new teachers try their best to clear doubts of students. Talking about curriculum, it is updated and includes all the recent developments. Overall I'll say academically Seth Kesrimal Porwal College, Kamptee is good.
Placement wise it isn't good. We all had to try ourselves for placements. Although the knowledge helped us alot in finding jobs easily. It has helped us to survive and do good in our respective fields.
The campus life was fun and the interaction with teachers was great. Not all the staff was friendly. The clerks were always rude. Other than that the friends I made at SK Porwal College, Kamptee are really great. Really enjoyed my time as student there.
Modern infrastructure includes spacious lecture halls, advanced computer centers, and sports facilities for holistic student development.Equipped with Wi-Fi, smart boards, and comfortable study spaces, the college infrastructure promotes an engaging academic environment.
Periodic academic reviews update the curriculum to align with industry trends and incorporate feedback from students and faculty. The institution regularly assesses teaching methods and learning outcomes to maintain high academic standards and continuous improvement.
The placement cell actively connects students with top recruiters through workshops, internships, and career fairs, ensuring strong job opportunities. Regular campus drives and industry collaborations provide students with exposure to diverse job roles and sectors for successful placements.
My experience with RTMNU was not so good, they have very bad infrastructure the roof was so old. Facilities? No way they didn't even had good water for students I really hope they will improve their college in coming years... I will rate my college 1/10 . Thanks
Academics was little bit good, teachers were helpful but all some of em got ego issues. And there library was nothing but a joke not even a good environment for study in library no one goes there. I will rate academics 7/10 , u because of some helpful teachers only
Placements? ???????????????????????? what a joke they really don't care about placements thy really care about money for there house only like our Vice president done a scam in university, I have no hope for placements from there I will rate 0/10 for placements
Value for money, they have low fees scheme by the way but still no not a good college if you really looking for value for money no placements, bad infrastructure nothing special. I really think how will student survive more.
They didn't have any campus life just come and go home???? , not even a good park to hangout and canteen? Canteen was cheee I never ate anything there In my life I would you suggest to go somewhere else.
Infrastructure is up to the mark and students are really concerned about the college campus cleanliness and facilities are properly maintained but some areas are need to be improved which had to be loik into by administration
University is attracted by various aspects but it does not include any practical exposure to students which is necessary nowadays so it's some amendment as per the guidelines of the authority for beneficial of students.
Replacement rankings of the colleges really nice and the students are really benefited from this the placement cell also recruits members from overall college which is also a nice initiative to promote team spirit.
Gud
There is no WiFi in college. The library is good. The hostel needs to be renovated. The classrooms are well-maintained with all necessary facilities. Our college supports various extracurricular activities such as cultural events, clubs, tours, and more. The quality of food was not so much good. Hygiene is maintained but food is tasteless.
Our teachers are very helpful and qualified maximum teaching staff had done doctorate and working as a scientist. This course curriculum is relevant, and it surely makes students industry-ready and also make them understand everything. One thing I disliked about the college is that students attend the college for classes, but regular classes are not conducted here.
As per the RTMNU NIRF report 2022, a total of 2 B.Pharm and 38 M.Pharm students were placed during the placement drive of 2020-21. The median package offered to B.Pharm Students was INR 3.00 LPA, while the median package for M.Pharm students stood at INR 4.50 LPA.
If you are budget friendly you can take admission here. Otherwise there was much better options. My fees of whole course is ₹4lacs.
There's nothing much to enjoy.
No
There was no Wi-Fi until last year; now there is Wi-Fi but with no signal. No grass on the football field; we don't have access to a swimming pool; the food in the canteen is good & reasonable. The labs in the college are alright, the library is good, & there is a sports cell for equipment.
The curriculum is alright; nothing extra ordinary. The grading system is really suspicious of our college. People who can't even read a paragraph in English are given an 'A'. Whereas those who are good at English get 'B'. I literally didn't recommend the college to even my relatives.
The highest package for the CSE department on campus is 4.5 LPA. Only 20–25 students among the 130 students in the 2024 batch got placed. I've finished my 6th semester, & no company has come to hire us yet. The company with the maximum package that has come to campus is 3.5 LPa with a 2-year bond.
I was on the student council's core team. There are hardly any events; we literally had to beg college authorities for events.
like the college infrastructure on campus. The garden is in front of the main building. the canteen is a little away from the building, and the first floor is for office usage. On the 2nd floor, we have a library where all academic books and journals are available. I chose not to stay in a hostel and instead lived in a flat near the college. We have many kitchens and hostels available. The food is tasty, and the amount is less than 4000 per month in mess charges.
Teachers are helpful and knowledgeable. Their teaching method is good. Demo tests are conducted on each paper and based on that practical and moral marks are given. The course curriculum has management and speaking subjects and we have analytics and Excel as additional skills. Semester exams are very difficult but our college passing percentage is 90%
The college explains that low placement is due to the recession and a lack of communication skills. The college should know that its duty is to improve students skills and make them corporate-ready. Many students were placed on off. campus drives at Deloitte. Shriram finance and IBM. Shriram Finance hires for a management trainee role with a 3 lacs package. Internships are for 6 months after a full-time job is given to many students. A stipend is given up to 20,000 per month.
Yes value for money
