Diploma in Computer Science and Engineering includes software and hardware design. This is an excellent preparatory course for a career in IT, as well as in public sectors like railways, banking etc. It covers the subjects of computer programming, computer systems, networking and computer hardware. The student will be specializing in high end applications like RDBMS and GUI tools based on Windows/LINUX environment. The extensive use of IT has led to an increase in the number of IT careers and the students are regularly getting absorbed in the IT industry. A student finishing his/her Diploma can appear for selection for lateral entry in to B.Tech./B.E. second year directly. Computer Engineering Diploma holders may even start their own venture with very little investment. Students in this program usually take a relatively narrow range of courses in order to learn about their chosen specialty.

Eligibility Criteria

10th with minimum 40% marks.

For Lateral Entry: Minimum 50% marks in 12th with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics (PCM) Or 10th + (2 years ITI) with 40% marks in appropriate Trade

For Migration from Other Universities:

1) Diploma in Engineering 1st year passed with minimum 50% marks or 5.0 CGPA on a 10 point scale

2) Minimum 40% marks at 10th level.

College Infrastructure

Infrastructure of our college is also very good. Galgotias University offers excellent facilities for students, including Wi-Fi-enabled smart classrooms, well-equipped labs, a central library with digital resources, and modern departmental infrastructure. Hostels are clean and secure, with options for AC and non-AC rooms. The mess serves hygienic food with a decent variety, while the canteen offers snacks and meals at reasonable prices. Medical facilities include a campus health center with doctors available. The university also promotes sports through playgrounds, indoor games rooms, and gym facilities. Overall, the infrastructure is well-maintained, supporting both academic and extracurricular growth effectively.

College Infrastructure

College infrastructure is very good. It has a very large cafeteria a basketball ground , cricket ground and clubs also. all classroom is fully ac based but it only in galgotias university. The first fraud is done with you when you take admission the diploma course is registered with university but the classes should be done in galgotias college their building and classroom is very poor and the classes don't have ac and the washroom is very dirty they don't clean it the fan is very old and they don't repair it. old computer system available in the lab which has only 4gb ram and they hanged when you doing any task and they run windows 7 os.
