72 MonthsThe PhD program prepares students for independent work as teachers, scholars, and critics by developing their abilities to pose and investigate problems in the advanced study of literatures in English. The program consists of four major components: coursework, teaching, fields exams, and the dissertation. Together, these elements introduce students to a wide variety of textual modes, critical methodologies, linguistic analysis and historical/cultural questions; provide extensive practice in research, discussion, argument, and writing; and develop pedagogical skills.
Eligibility Criteria
A Master's degree from a recognized Indian University or any other equivalent degree to the satisfaction of the Academic Council of the University, in the relevant field, with not less than 55% marks in aggregate or 6.0 CGPA on a 10 point scale or equivalent.
Note: Candidates who have qualified in UGC NET/CSIR (JRF) Examination/SLET/GATE/Teacher Fellowship holder or have passed M.Phil. Programmes are exempted from Written Examinations.

College Infrastructure
This college facilities is amazing. Classroom is big and clean and fully ac. Wifi also available in classroom and University. They are also provide the hostel facilities. Yes the living spaces clean and the food hygienic.
