48 MonthsBachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Electronics and Communication Engineering is a four-year full-time undergraduate program offered by the Indian Institute of Information Technology, Kottayam. the duration of the B.Tech programme will normally be 8 semesters, The award of the B.Tech shall be in accordance with the regulations of the Academic Advisory Committee / Senate of the Institute.
Eligibility Criteria
Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together. OR Passed Diploma (in Engineering and Technology) examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) subject to vacancies in the First Year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted.
Admission Details
Admission to the B.Tech programme in any year will be based on performance in Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main and HSC examinations as per Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) guidelines (subject to change as per MHRD, Gov of India, orders).
