Stage 1: The training and IIIT Kottayam Placement cell invites the companies to hold placement drives on the campus. The companies are informed regarding the courses, the students, and other achievements through placement brochures.
Stage 2: The company accepts the invitation and provides the institute with all the required details like the job profile, description, eligibility criteria, the date and time of placement, and the vacancies.
Stage 3: The students are made to register for the placement drive along with the resumes and details. The students who are registered are allowed to appear in the placement drive.
Stage 4: On the day of IIIT Kottayam Placement, the company arrives and holds a pre-placement talk with the students and faculties. This will give them an idea about the job, the requirements, and what is the overall procedure of recruitment.
Stage 5: Now, tests and personal interviews will take place. This step can vary from company to company based on their recruitment style and process.
Stage 6: The company announces the names of the students who are selected on the very same day or can take as much as another 24 hours. Also, the offer letters are given to the students through the training and placement cell.
