Subjects and specified curriculum are according to industry standards. If some student works hard to cover the curriculum, they should be well prepared for further studies. Moreover, into the curriculum is built time to pursue projects. You did your best in NEET, and it’s okay that you didn’t get a government seat this time. Since it was your first try, and if your heart still beats for becoming a doctor, and you’re ready to give one full focused year, then taking a drop is okay — but only if you’re 100% sure you’ll give it your everything, with no regrets. But if you also like coding or tech, then CSE at IIIT Kalyani is a really nice option too. IIITs are good, and CSE can give you a strong career, good placements, and even chances to go abroad or work at top companies. So just sit for a minute, think what excites you more — medicine or computers — and go with the one that makes you feel happy inside. Both paths are great, you just need to pick the one your heart really wants.

- Among the options provided here, IIIT Dharwad and IIIT Kalyani generally have the strongest placement records, although some students got decent placements through product-based and service companies.
