IIIT Sonepat Reviews on Infrastructure, Campus, Placement, Facilities & Faculty

Currently our college IIIT Sonepat is running in transit campus "SBIT". Here our all the classes are running at here and all the office work also. In the transit campus classes have ACs, projectors or smart boards. Labs have well equipped instruments , wifi and ACs. There is a library also from where you can easily take your course books. Our permanent campus will be completed by Jan 2026.Therefore there is 90% chance of shifting our classes to permanent campus in jan 2026 after semester break.

I am in the CSE with specialisation in Data Science & Analyst branch of B.Tech. Our all the faculty members are PHd holders and mostly completed their PHd from IITs. All the faculty are very supportive in the college .Our syllabus is updated but apart from syllabus our professors suggest and advice us to take take part in seminars,events,competitions and any other tech related events.

We have a separate TnP cell for the placements. Many of my seniors have got placement from the college but many also taken the placement from off-campus. The overall placement percentage in 2024 is approx 65% and the highest package is 40LPA and the overall package is 15.87LPA. Many of my seniors also got internship from amazon,microsoft etc.

My college IIIT Sonepat is based on PPP (Public - Private Partnership) model. Our only tution fees per year is 1,80,000 rupees and the overall fees per year is around 2,00,000 rupees but it not includes hostel and mess fees. Well i think when we will shift to permanent campus then this cost of fees will worth it.

I have made a lot of good friends who are doing very well in the college in terms of academic and non-academic .Currently many of my friends are doing internship in 1st year and there is one of my friend who cracked GSOC in 1st year. So the overall coding environment is excellent. But due to temporary campus we have only one fest which is sports fest "AGNITO" only. Our transit campus is in SBIT in Pallri, 4km away from Bahalgarh, Sonepat.

I want to add that at the end it depends on you that how you work hard in the college . Which skills you gain in the college. Because after 4 years no one is asking you about your college campus everyone will ask your skills, projects etc. So keep it up yourself. Thank you..

Although our current transit campus is in a local closed up private college, it doesn't matter that much to me but it impacts the enthusiasm for programming in a negative way. We are not able to get the coding culture we require but atleast the professors are coordinating in nature. Wi-Fi is available but mainly in the labs. Hostels are currently owned by private vendors so a bit expensive.

Academics are pretty good here. Though you may feel weird about the first semester subjects but the subjects from second year onwards are really interesting. I would had given 5 star to them if there wouldn't had been a subject called Applied Science or Pure Physics in the first semester itself.

The placement rate, average and median package are satisfactory, especially for middle class background people like me. The companies visited ask for only skills except 1 or 2 which put CGPA as the first and foremost criteria.

Can't say with certainty whether it's worthy or not but if you're getting even a package of 8-10 lpa, I think it's sufficient for most Indians who are from middle class background. But apart from money, you get good knowledge and it's the most important thing.

The best part of the college according to me is the event time: In February, we have our sports fest, in September, a workshop, in August a hackathon. Though I still am not able to make it to the last two, I shall try to make for the first one.

there is a very good infrastructure and nice area all around . campus is wifi and canteen is also good and canteen food really taste good and there is safe environment for girls , for going there is also transportation service also.

I am computer and science engineering (CSE) . I am studying cse because of my on choice and there is also many option for improvement of ourself , faculty is dedicated to teach us with their all effort .

there is a good placement rate at which student get placement and high package on avg their is 16 lac and higher more than 35 lac , faculty prepare you for placement . you can get through many changes but placement faculty is very nice

there is 2 semester per year and each semester is of 6 month . and you have to submit per semester aprox 1 lac . but it is worth to investment in this college . college provide different program to enchance our skill.

campus life is very good and it provide safe and nice enviroment to all of them

This college has poor infrastructure with ranted campus in Shri Balwant Institute of technology in Sonipat city. They have decent furniture, library structure, have one smart board and one normal board.

Our College has good in academic which are sufficient for job preparation. They have lot of books for reading in library with most effective lessons. The professors are good enough to solve the doubts and other coding related problems.

The placement in the year of 2023 was 85% of all the branches with highest package 60 LPA and average package 15 to 16 LPA. Ih the year of 2024, the placement have touch more than 60% of the students with decent package.

The campus life was very poor in ranted college with playground where we can play football, basketball, volleyball and also have some area for indoor games like carrom, chess, table tennis etc. Only they have one canteen with better hygiene but poor taste.

This college have no its own campus it means it have ranted campus in Shri Balwant Institute of technology situated in Pallri Khurd. Its furniture, library structure, Water facilities, etc. are available here.

Our College have good in academics and sufficient for Job interview and quality of teaching is also good at all with no updates yet. Curriculum of this studies is not updated yet. Their pattern of study in not good

The Placement of year 2023 is 85% with highest package of INR 60 LPA with average package INR 15 to 16 LPA. In the year 2024 the placement is going on more than 50% and still is in on the way with over all branches.

The campus life is not good at all with ranted campus they have only playground where we can play football, basketball, volleyball etc. And have side area where we can play indoor games like carrom, chess, billiards etc

Our college not have its own campus, it ranted a other college to manage the classes. This college have decent infrastructure with one smart board and one whiteboard. Library have so many books of famous authors and poets.

Our college have good academia in each courses. With stability of studies with no pressure and also with no updates from many years. But it is easy to understand and little bit enough for job preparation.

Our college highest package in 2023 was 60 LPA and average package was around 15 to 16 LPA. More than 50% of the students have been placed till now and further processing for more placement is going on

Our college have ranted campus of other college which have decent furniture and classrooms. Our classrooms have two boards in which one is smartboard and other one is normal whiteboard. Also our classrooms have one speaker and mice.

Our college have good academics. We have library in which we have lot of Famous books. Where we can read the books and take it for reading for home. Our academics is enough for job preparation with no updates yet.

Our college have highest package as 60 LPA in 2023 and median package as 8 to 10 LPA. In present, More than 50% of the students have placed with on-campus placement of all the courses and our college is supportive for it.

Our college rents facilities at SBIT, where students of all branches are taught. the infrastructure and transportation are not good at all. Each classroom has both smartboards and normal boards. They have a sports center where we can play football, basketball, volleyball, and indoor games such as carrom, billiards, chess, etc. Hygiene is very good overall. However, the canteen is not good at all and needs significant improvement.

I am pursuing a B.Tech degree in Computer Science and Engineering because it offers numerous opportunities for a successful career. Based on my observations, the curriculum has not been updated recently, but it is sufficient to prepare students for jobs.

In 2023, the placement rate at my college was 85%. Currently, in 2024, the placement process is ongoing, and more than 50% of the students across all branches have already been placed in companies like Yamaha, Amazon, and others.

I am pursuing a B.Tech degree, and the semester-wise tuition fee is approximately 1 lakh. The hostel fee is around 70 thousand, and it is worth it for the quality of faculty provided.

The construction of the permanent campus for my college is ongoing. Currently, the rented campus has two boys' hostels, while one girls' hostel and staff accommodations are located 6 to 7 km away from the rented campus.

It is best institute you can get with this rank . You have the necessary infrastructure here . Coding culture is also quite good here . It is well maintained infrastructure and hygiene work place . They have all the necessary equipments.

IIIT SONEPAT is a institute of national importance . Institute focus on fast growing fields like artificial intelligence, machine learning, blockchain and etc . But you have to work for all this there is no alternative for this.

You can see it's placement stats it is just amazing. Almost every big companies visit here for recruitment.last year highest package was more than 40 lakh and average package was also amazing . It's stats are increasing with every year. Also it is has brand value of IIIT with it . You don't have to worrry about placements .

I would say it is the best college you can get to study faster growing field of computer science.

Infrastructure of IIIT Sonepat includes all basic facilities and equipment.We have fully air-conditioned lecture halls with projector and screen . Lecture halls are spacious and ventilated,with a seating capacity of 80 students.There is one computer lab , which has seating capacity of 80 students and well maintained desktops and laptops. Hostel rooms are spacious,ventilated and have 2-way sharing. There is one mess for all , it is spacious,hygienic and food is satisfactory.

I'm currently pursuing Computer Science and Engineering. Professors are highly qualified , all of them are PhD holders. Methodology of teaching is good.You can interact with professors easily and can get your doubts solved . Curriculum is updated and coding culture is also good.

Quality of placements is good . Every year top MNCs like Adobe System , IBM , Q3 Technology , Posist Technology ,Paytm , OYO rooms etc. visit campus and offer coveted job profiles to students . The average annual package is Rs 8.19 Lakh . The Highest package offered was INR 40.63 Lakh per annum.

Our course costs 70k - 80k per semester . As we get quality education , facilities , placements and being in an institute of National importance , so money we are investing is totally worth it.

Campus life is amazing . We have different clubs and societies , in which students can develop new skills . Coding culture is also good. Staff is supportive . Our college is well connected with city and 24/7 public transports are available.

Good college
