Dear Subham,

There isn't any fixed number of seats in the IISERs.

The maximum number of seats is allocated to the Biology stream while the minimum is given for Maths.

The number of students getting admitted into Physics and Chemistry Departments is intermediate.

However, you can expect around 15-20 seats approximately for Integrated PhD in Chemistry in each IISER.

Hope this helps!

Hi,

Yes they can write IISER exam.

See the exam is divided into 4 parts and has 15 questions from Each Subject.

Maths- 15 Questions

No Sectional Cut Offs .

Most of the students who appear in the IISER Aptitude Test will have either PCM or PCB in Class 12 and only few will have PCMB as subject and they might have an edge over other students.

If you are a PCM Student - You can really do good in PCM Questions + Study NCERT Level Biology

Hi Dhiraj,

The salary may vary from Private to Government Institutes. In research field, the government job can offer Rs.40,000-1,00,000 per month as per designation and in private job it can be Rs.20,000-1,25,000 per month as per designation.

Thank you and best of luck.

Hey Sakshi,

You are elligible for applying in IISER because your 12th marks is more than 85%(it may vary).

There are too many caretaria and exams to take admission in IISC and IISER.

For IISER you have to qualify JEE advance. The competition is tough.

Here are the last year cutoff:

2015-Jee Adv rank-8500

2916-Jee Adv rank-6500

2017-Jee adv rank-5800

Best of Luck!
