JAU Junagadh Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

All the undergraduate and postgraduate students are provided with hostel facilities with an attached mess. Various hostel facilities exist for the students of different faculties, in addition to this, an International hostel for foreign students is available

Separate hostel facilities are available for girl students at the college. All the hostel rooms are provided with basic furniture and facilities. Mess facilities are also available for hostellers which serve good quality and hygienic food to students.

JAU, Junagadh has a big on-campus library which facilitates the teaching, research and extension programme. Both students and faculty extensively use the facility. Books, periodicals, theses, reports, maps and encyclopaedias relevant to the mandate areas of the university have been stocked in the University Library and its constituent centre.

Various sports facilities are provided by Junagadh Agricultural University, Junagadh for the students. Various playgrounds for playing cricket, volleyball, kho-kho, kabbadi and field events. Other indoor games facilities like carrom, chess, badminton etc are also provided by the university.

Cybrary with 100 mbps LAN connectivity facilitates students with online journals/databases. Databases like CABI, AGRIS, AGRICOLA are obtained as CD-ROM versions whereas INDIAN HARVEST as online databases.

The college has an auditorium that is used for different events and seminars throughout the year. The auditorium is big and spacious and is easily accessible to all students and staff.

The university also has a gym which is equipped with all the facilities and modern machinery that helps the students to keep their health and fitness in check.

The University has a health centre with a first aid facility for the students that can be used by students and the staff in cases of emergencies.
