According to the nature of their degree, the college provides instruction to students and sends them on internships to various locations.

Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology or KIIT Bhubaneswar was established in 1992 by Achyuta Samanta with small finances and a vision to create a university for the benefit of society.  In 2004, KIIT was declared Deemed University by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. This university gives you an opportunity for internship and placements as their training and placement department is really good. They prepare students before their placements through many activities.

They provide exposure to many companies like Nestle, reliance, Jio, Genpact, NIBF etc. They also provide training for the improvement of student's skills. So this university is good for taking admission in PhD program.

Kalinga university ,however a good university provide ba,bsc and other courses but this university does not provide any distance electrical diploma course ,you may try it from other universities .But you ask me then i will suggest you to go for a full time course , distance course of electrical diploma do not mean nothing. I don't think it will help you anyhow in your career , develop some skills inside you ,spend money on yourself to develop skills rather than taking the degrees ,many examples are there who didn't went even college but now they are millionaire ,bill gates who was a poor student in school time ,now many toppers work under hi. .

So develop skills .

However kalinga university provide electrical engineering course which is far better than distance diploma ,details are here-.

Kalinga institute of industrial technology, Bhubaneshwar is ranked 16th by careers360 and 24th by NIRF. They have NAAC accreditation of grade A. They have all the facilities on campus like cafeteria, gym, sports, library, etc.

Their fees for engineering is around Rs 14.91 lakhs and have seats around 180 - 280.
