Eligibility Criteria

UG

• The Candidate’s age should be of minimum 17 years and a maximum of 25 years as on or before December 31 of the admission year. (5 years relaxation for SC/ST/OBC).

• The Candidate should have passed with a minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Biotechnology in the PUC examination of Karnataka State or any other equivalent.

PG

• A Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary/ Dairy/ Fisheries from any Institute/ University accredited by ICAR/ VCI, New Delhi.

• For Veterinary and Animal Sciences, the overall Grade point average should be 6 out of 10 for the General category and 5.5 out of 10 for SC/ST in the Bachelor’s degree.

• For Dairy and Fisheries Sciences, the overall Grade point average should be 6.5 out of 10 for the General category and 6 out of 10 for SC/ST in the Bachelor’s degree.

PhD 

• Master’s degree in respective or allied subject from any Institute/ University accredited by ICAR, New Delhi.

• Overall grade point average of 7 out of 10 for the General category and 6.5 out of 10 for SC/ST/OBC candidates at the Master’s degree level.
