Dear Sankalp,

Academics wise, in most of the colleges is almost same and you have to study on your own but the colleges you have listed above have the best faculties.

VMMC - You will get delhi quota for pg. Safdarjung hospital has the largest opd so you will get excellent clinical exposure, helpful seniors, good alumni connections, good pg:ug seat ratio(sort of internal pg quota), campus is not very big but college life is amazing. No service bond after MBBS.

KGMU - It caters large number of patients so good clinical exposure. It has a golden era of its own with great alumni. Two  Years of rural service bond.

AIIMS Bhopal -  You will get aiims tag in the first two, three of them are central universities with internal pg quota. I have ranked them according to my priority. You will also get good amount of research opportunities.

IMS - It is an Excellent institute but with a very disciplined life. Choose only if u want it, but it will be a good experience on its own.

Overall, Aiims bhopal is best. Initially BHU was better one as it was giving preference for internal students. But now, there is no such type of internal preferences. So now AIIMS will a better choice plus the brand tag of aiims also works everywhere . Facilities like mess, hostel etc. are gone quite old at BHU.

Hope this helps.

All the Best!!

Hello Aspirant,

Hope you are safe and doing good.

Regarding your concern, the lowest cut-off score in 2021 for any government colleges including KGMU and all others in U.P is 573 . So, for your own security you can try in any of the private colleges as their cut-off score is low and you have a respectable score for that.

Hope this helps, All the best

Hello,

To get admission in MBBS or BDS course, candidate first need to appear and qualify the NEET exam, candidates need to meet in NEET cutoff, those who are eligible need to register and participate in UP state NEET counselling that is conducted by the directorate of medical education and training (DMET), lucknow, now you need to fill college choices, choose KGMU lucknow there, if you will be alloted KGMU college, then you will need to visit the college campus, then after paying admission fee and submitting the document, your admission will be done.

Hello aspirant

KGMU is the best college of Uttar Pradesh which students prefer after BHU, Varanasi. So usually cut off goes high.

Neet 2020 cut off marks for OBC category in this college for first round was 649 marks & Air 4095. Whereas final Cut off marks after second round was 647 marks.

So there is large difference in your marks and Last year cut off. So chances are low.

Otherwise ranks improve very much at your expected marks and it stay below AIR 4200 you will have great chance to get this. So till then wait for result and hope for better.

You can check up cut off marks (1st round) for different colleges from the link below.

It is difficult to predict the cut off marks or ranks but according to previous year trends your expected rank would lie between 36751 - 42759but it may vary every year depending on the following factors
1. Level of question paper
2. Total no of candidates
3. Category of candidate
4. Total no of seats
5. Marks obtained by students
Here is the link for the expected marks vs ranks
https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-result-marks-vs-rank
According to previous years the cutoff marks for KGMC iN 2020 was areound more than 558 marks and in year 2019 it was around 528 marks .
