• National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro Sciences will release the NIMHANS Entrance Exam 2022 Application Form& information prospectus on the online official website. (https://www.iaspaper.net/nimhans-entrance-exam/)
• Candidates seeking admission in courses have to register their Application Form through either online or offline mode.
• Candidates have to fill in details in the application like Name, Father/Mother Name, Gender, Birth of Date, Mobile/Phone Number, etc.
• Provide the documents such as 10th / SSLC/Matriculation Certificate, Degree Certificate, Transfer Certificate from Institution/College, from where the last qualification degree was pursued, Marks Card of all years/semesters for degree examination, Caste certificate, if applicable, Medical Council Registration Certificate and many more.

About 90 to 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) from the standard 19 courses covered throughout the MBBS programme will be answered in the NIMHANS exam. These MCQs would be similar to those asked in other postgraduate admission exams like the AIIMS and JIPMER. Your study material for this section will be the same as it is for other All India exams.

50–60 MCQs from all other areas, including anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, microbiology, pharmacology, pathology, ophthalmology, medicine, surgery, psychiatry, radiology, and anaesthesia, are related to sections on neurology.

NIMHANS offers PHD and M.Phil courses in psychology. It does not offer bachelor studies in the subject. For better opportunities, I would suggest you to take up B.Sc in psychology as, job prospects are better in B.Sc courses.

As we know that NIMHANS entrance exam for PhD in Clinical Neurosciences consists of majority of the questions from CNS, Nerve Muscle physiology and General physiology.

Also, it would be good to revise the concepts by reading the 12th class CBSE Biology Textbooks which focuses on Neuroscience/Physiology.

Neuroscience by Dale Purves is a book which is simple and fast read to grab the topic by its tail.

Also, try to interact with someone who has already written this exam to guide you in a more better manner.

NIMHANS has not yet announced the new dates for master of Public Health entrance examination. However it is expected when the entrance examination dates will be soon announced by the NIMHANS. You can expect the month of May 2022 for the entrance examination of NMIMS MPH. This is because in the last year 2021,  May 14th 2021 was the date of entrance examination for Postgraduate courses (including MPH)

Master of Public Health is offered for 10 seats. Out of these 10 seats, 5 are sponsored category seats and 5 are non sponsored category seats.

Girls hostel name is Cauvery Hostel with 110 rooms and Kabini Hostel 192 rooms.
