The new session for NIMHANS 2020 will start from 3rd week of January, online registration will start in 3rd week of January and end in 3rd week of February 2020.

Exam date will be in between 4th week of March.

And the results will be declared in 1st week of April.

With bsc the exam date will be in between 3rd week of April.and the result will be in 4th week of April.

Interview will be in 1st week of May.


Admission in 1st week of June.

That's the proposed schedule and the clear dates will be declared in January.

Well in aggregate marks you will have to fill up the total of your marks scored by you in all of your papers.
In aggregate percentage you will have to fill up your percentage that you scored.
Both are different and hence should be filled up differently.

dear aspirant,hope you are doing well.Now coming to your question, NIMHANS is one of the most prestigious institutes for Post Graduate Medical studies in India.
About 20,000 aspirants take the NIMHANS entrance exam for entry into 6 year DM/MCh and 3 year MD Psychiatry at NIMHANS.
This blog will familiarize you with various details pertaining to the NIMHANS entrance such as the Scheme and Pattern of Exam, Important Dates and some preparation tips.
 NIMHANS is an online objective pattern PG Entrance Exam conducted for admission to direct M.Ch. Neurosurgery/DM Neurology and MD Psychiatry courses.
A common entrance exam is conducted for all these courses and a separate Merit list is published for every course.
The exam is conducted twice a year – for the January and the July session.

Regarding the online application form for session 2 PG entrance exams National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro-Sciences (NIMHANS) 2019-2020 the form will be available from next week ( no particular date specified). So candidates should keep checking the site from Monday onwards (August 12,2019) for registration notification. Hope this may help you.

After you've completed your bachelors you are open to any masters degree in the field of clinical psychology and if you want to pursue M.phil in clinical psychology you are open to many options.
There are total 21 seats in NIMHANS for this course, Total : 21 Seats  Break-up indicated below:
i) 15 Seats for All India
ii) 03 Seats for Karnataka Domicile
iii) 03 Seats for foreign/sponsored candidates
There is an entrance test for all the courses and thus for this too, which is mandatory for admission. The entrance test would be online. Also, you have to first apply through an online application.
The ones selected have to come to the centre with the previous examination results at the time of counseling or interview. If you're selected, you'll be called and you're finally enrollment and admitted.

Hi Sabiha, yes their is Masters in Psychology avialable at NIMHANS Institute. It offers M.Phil in Clinical Psychology and PhD in Clinical Psychology.

Highlights of the M.Phil. in Cinical Psychology Program

Two year regular fulltime course
Lectures. class-seminars and self-study assignments pertaining to the syllabus/coursework
Work in a multi-disciplinary team
Emphasis on clinical training: work with patients in in-patient and out-patient settings
Rigorous training to develop competency in diverse psychological assessments and therapies
Receive one-on-one supervision from faculty with respect to patient care, specifically, assessments and therapies
Participate in psychotherapy group-based training in addition to one-on- one supervision
Trainees go through a rotation of different clinical postings to get an exposure to specialty areas in clinical psychology
Present and participate in departmental case conferences, seminars and journal clubs and interdepartmental  teaching programs
Receive exposure to research by working on a dissertation as part of the course requirement

Participate in doctoral research presentations in the department

Present papers in conferences and publish on the PhD work
Present periodically in different fora  within the Institute  on their ongoing  research- work  for enabling  monitoring and feedback.

Hello

National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro Sciences offers Doctoral and PG courses. You cannot apply directly after class 12th.

However, after PCMB you can go for MBBS, BDS courses. You can opt for Engineering courses also in other colleges.

The course fee for this programme usually varies from Rs.1 Lakh to Rs.5 Lakhs, depending on the course and institution offering it. The course focuses on agricultural science and technology.
