Dear student you have few chance to get admission and I think you have good chance if  all student performance like your percentage so definitely you get admission.
Thank you.

Panjab University hasn't released it's cut-off/merit list for 2019. Your 12th score is good. If you score good marks in the entrance exam you'll definitely get the admission in Panjab University. It is difficult to say that exactly how many more marks you need to get admission in the University as merit list changes every year.

Hii,Well the syllabus for PU BA LLb entrance exam includes four sections. The four sections are as given below-

1. English 10 marks and 10 Questions

2. General Knowledge & Current affairs 60 marks and 60 Questions

3. Legal Aptitude 20 marks and 20 Questions

 4. Mental ability 10 marks and 10 Questions

English- The English section of BA LLB entrance exam for PU is easy with basic grammar and vocabulary questions. It includes synonyms, idioms, phrases, Jumbled words etc. You can practice the same from an all inclusive guide only. You don't need a separate book for the same

Mental Ability- The weightage of this section is also less, also the questions are very easy if you compare it to other exams like CLAT. Take a look at the previous year questions to understand the level and pattern of questions. It would involve basic interpretation and reasoning questions. A separate book won't be necessary for this section too. An all inclusive guide will be sufficient.

Legal aptitude- This sections includes basic questions related to law like Constitution, legal maxims and more. You can use the all inclusive guide for this section as well. Also solve the previous year questions to see the recurring questions.

General Knowledge and Current Affairs- For this entrance focus more on Static GK than on Current affairs.  If you look at the previous year question papers then you will be repeating questions too. There are morr static GK questions. For that you can use the Consized sized Pearson or Lucents book. Try solving previous year papers too.

For preparation you can use An All Inclusive guide like Univeral's guide to CLAT and LLB. This book would be sufficient for preparation. Although this book contains many things outside the syllabus too as it covers most of the other entrances like CLAT too. Hence try to stick to the syllabus. Also, you need to make sure that you go through the Previous year questions papers and practice the sample papers well.

As you have two months, it will be sufficient to prepare for PU BA LLB entrance exam. Make sure you pay attention to the General knowledge section. Go through the material well. Other than that you can slo go for online quizez on static GK to practice. This section would require more attention. The weightage of it is also more. You can practice rest of the  sections alongside.

Hope, this information willl helpful for you.Goodluck.

Hey,
Yes definitely. Each department generates the merit list based upon the Academic scores plus the PU entrance exam score. Moreover, there are a specific number of seat availability for a particular course. For example, BSc Physics has 50 seats. If you get your name within top 1040 candidates in the merit list, then admission is guranteed. All the Best !

Hello Dikha,

Assumimg you are a general category student, I am very sorry to say that you have a very less chance to get a seat in the Punjab University. But, don't lose your hope.Keep trying, there are many private colleges out there which will provide admission for you.

Hope this Helps.

All the Best, will always be very happy to help you with any doubts.

Well , for a brief "PUCET merit list will be released by the officials after the PUCET Result according to which further PUCET counselling process will undertake.  The PUCET Merit List will be prepared by the officials based on the following factors :75% of Marks from the PU CET 2019 (In Percentile) and 25% marks from the 10+2  exam or Qualifying exam (In percentage),so this is very subjective depending upon which course you apply, what is highest score for that particular course etc, but apart from this since you have scored decently in boards and pu-cet exam too,acc to previous year anaslysis you may get a seat in PU , not necessarily in course of your choice in initial counselling round, but till final counselling round at this score you have good chances of admission (in some course)

Hello Anukul,

Assuming you are a general category student,I am sorry to inform that, you might not get the admission in the Punjab University with your percentile in the PUCET based of the cutoff. Since, you have an A certificate in NCC, this might addup as your benift to fetch an admission in the PU. Contact the admission office of PU and find out your admission chances. The contact numbers of the university are available in the official website of the university.

Hope this Helps.

Good Luck for your Admission.
