you have to get ranking around 5000 or less in KCET  to get top colleges and desired branch in desired engineering college . you can work hard and score good rank in kcet to get descent college.

With 105 your chance of getting a seat in CSE  in THAPAR as well as PU is tough as the competition is very high for that. 

As a medium earning family it becomes slightly tougher to manage the fees which are charged by Thapar as it is bit expensive. If you are thinking of Education loan then its ok but keep in mind that the loan burden may get bigger as the amount taken will be also bigger.

PU is getting better day by day as compared to Thapar in terms of placements. Well thapar has good records in its side but the level of improvement shown by PU's placement cell is exceptionally well. Overall, both colleges lie very near in terms of placement.

Thapar is an average choice. It is not a best college and not also the worst college. It is among the average engineering colleges of India with some placements thats all.

I'll suggest you to keep an eye on spot counselling of JEE MAINS. Try there if you get a chance in some good colleges.

Punjab University (PU) will be conducting the entrance examination for admission to their three years regular LLB Programme. The entrance examination is scheduled to be conducted on June 18, 2019. The application forms are available from April 10, 2019 on the official website of Punjab University.The exam is held annually through offline mode and contains subjective type and objective type questions.The important topics for the exam are- English Comprehension, General Knowledge and Current Affairs, Legal Aptitude, Legal Reasoning.The result for the PU LLB entrance examination will be available online at the official website of Punjab University by June 29, 2019( tentatively).

Kea(Karnataka examinations authority) will consider marks of physics, chemistry and mathematics of pu2 and kcet score in physics, chemistry and mathematics to give engineering ranking . 

If you want to get good engineering college score more than 50 in physics, chemistry and mathematics .

Yes ofcourse you or any student who completed class 12 or two years ITI course from any recognised board are eligible to get direct admission in 2nd year of Diploma course. For this, you need to give entrance test of the university you want to enroll in. After clearing the entrance exam you will get admission in diploma course.

Since you have scored little less in PU you have to score minimum 100 out of 180 to have your rank below 2500 in CET. Physics Chemistry Mathematics- these three subjects must be done very well in boards result.

KCET exam gives weightage to PU marks obtained in PCM combination in the qualifying examination. Generally if you want to get really good score in KCET then you can follow this:-

• About 95% in PUC and above 120 in KCET.
• About 90 % in PUC and 125 in KCET.
• About 80% in PUC and 135 in KCET.
• 75% in PUC and 145 in KCET.
