Hello. It is difficult to tell exactly now which college he may get since your percentile and rank may differ because it depends on the tot. no. of students appearing in the April exam. NTA will release the Overall merit list based on the no. of students appeared and best of two attempts of the students appearing twice. So to know your son's exact rank and a particular college cutoff you need to wait until the April exam ends.
According to his precentile the probable rank will be 186,873 - 206,873. (Assuming him in general category). Based on this he may not be eligible for JEE ADVANCED.
I would recommend for your son to study hard and prepare well for the jee mains April session and try to score a percentile of 90+.
For study materials or how to prepare for jee mains april you can check the below link.

Hi,
If you do have interest in the law domain then you need not to worry about making career in this area. There are plenty of opportunities here. The legal profession in India has undergone a strategic and substantial change over the last few decades. Now-a-days the law aspirants not only figure themselves in courts but mark the presence in various corporate houses, law agencies, law firms, litigation, administrative services and many more.
Earlier, the profession of practicing law was limited to criminal and civil litigation. But now, the opportunities available for graduates from any of the top Law Schools are phenomenal. After the liberalization of India’s economy there is a huge demand for highly skilled lawyers who are adept in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, banking and finance, infrastructure contracts, debt restructuring, FEMA regulations, IPRs, corporate governance, private equity deals, WTO law etc. Law firms, both international as well as domestic, regularly recruit such lawyers in large numbers. Same is the case with big companies like TATA, Reliance, Infosys, Wipro, TCS, ICICI Bank, etc.
Students who do not like joining business law can find greener pastures in environment or Human Rights in reputed organizations like CSE, ICRC, UNHCR etc. For LLM students from premier Law schools, Business Laws and IP Laws are the branches, which offer excellent career opportunities.
Most of the magic circle and silver circle law firms like Clifford
Chance, Allen & Overy, Herbert Smith, Simmons etc visit Indian
campuses to recruit students for their various offices across the
globe. Almost all the Indian law firms like Luthra and Luthra,
Amarchand Mangaldas, AZB Partners, Nishith Desai Associates have also
begun recruiting from the Law Schools. I hope it helps!

For preparation of exam, the most important thing is your confidence after that you should know the whole syllabus and make your plan properly for learning new chapters, solving the numericals and revision. All three things should be the part of your preparation strategy in daily routine.
