Exams accepted - SRMJEE

Total no. 0f streams for engineering- 30

Fees for btech - 2.5 laks for 1st yr.

Highest package is around 30LPA.

Average package - 4-5 LPA

Top recruiters - HCL , Accenture , Amazon , Infosys , HP , Delloitte , Siemens , Microsoft , flipkart,  swiggy , etc.

SRM is deemed university and GMR is private university. Both colleges provide good infrastructure facilities such as spacious and digital classrooms, well-equipped labs with latest technologies, sports and internet facilities, hostel, hygienic food, library, etc. The faculty members in both colleges are highly skilled and master in their subjects. The placement record of SRM is slightly better than that of GMR for CSE. Many companies such as Amazon, TCS, Google, IK Multimedia , IBM, WorkIndia, Deleoitte, Paypal, ZS Associates, Bank Of America etc. with average salary package of 4-5 LPA and highest salary package upto 30LPA.

Candidates can choose their preferred specialization/branch of study in a particular campus based on:

(a) Merit List based on Score obtained.

(b) fulfilling the programme-specific eligibility criteria for a particular campus

(c) subject to the availability of seats at that point of time.

Upon selection of specialization/branch full tuition fees and other applicable fees have to be paid at the time of counselling. Provisional Allotment Letter (PAL) will be issued to confirm the candidate's admission.

Maybe you could take up CSE at some of the Newer IIITs, like Vadodara, Guwahati, Pune, Surat and many others or maybe lower branches like Mechanical, Chemical, Metallugical in some of the Tier 2 NITs lile Jalandhar, Jamshedpur, Surat, Patna, MANIT, NIT Raipur, Durgapur, Kurukshetra and many others if possible at your Rank. These options will be better than either going to NIT Goa or SRMIST, considering the NIT Tag, Good Infrastructure, Faculty and Placements.

With reference to your query,  I would glad inform you that SRM would be better option to persue bca as they have very good brand name and highly qualified faculities and coding culure is quite good due to sevral technical fests . I would advise you to go for mca after bca because only bca doesnt have much oppournities in IT sector bu after mca you get very good package in IT

The placement success rate of the students is 85%. The students get placed upto top salary packages of 3lakhs per annually.

See the placement cell in VIT CHENNAI is very much better compared to that of SRM. Thus if you want a better salary packages and a better chance to get in good corporate sector then I would recommend you to go for VIT instead of SRM.

VIT have a very well organized curriculum such that the curriculum provides adequate skills to work in industry as well as to pursue academia. Also the faculties are very well experienced and are active in research. VIT offers a very good rate of placement about 91%. Thus if you want  admission in CSE among this two then I would say its better to go for VIT CHENNAI. VIT have very good infrastructure which is really  good fact for science students.
