i hope you found your answer
Dear Aspirant,
From a ranking perspective both of them are not in the top 200 universities according to the National Institute of Ranking Framework (NIRF).
Allahabad is a central university while Lucknow is a state university. Access to funding is usually more in centrally funded universities. Allahabad’s Dept. of Mathematics is older. They have a faculty of 11 in comparison to 19 at Lucknow. The difference being Lucknow has Astronomy as an additional elective in their department. In terms of published papers by Allahabad’s HOD has more papers.
So taking all these into account we figure Allahabad has a better Mathematics Dept. We will also recommend that you talk to the faculty of each to further understand to take a hand on decision.
Good Luck

Ved, according to the official website, BA Economics Hons has 60 seat intake every year. This is for both Candidates who have UP Domicile and who belong to other States as well. Now to be eligible for BA Economics Hons for University of Lucknow, you should have completed your Intermediate or Equivalent examination with a minimum aggregate of 60%. It is 60% for General Category and OBC and it is 55% for SC/ST. This aggregate is based on the total marks of all subjects. You can take admission to BA Economics Honours Programme even if you belong to Jharkhand and do not hold the domicile of UP. SC/ST/OBC Candidates of other States other than UP cannot claim reservation and they will be treated as General. So. if you belong to SC/ST/OBC you can apply for this programme but you will be treated as General Category Candidate. In the faculties of Law, Arts , Commerce, Science and Fine Arts, admission to UG programmes is through merit scored in the entrance exam. With 75% in your Intermediate or equivalent exam, even if you belong to Jharkhand, you are eligible for applying for the entrance exam and then taking admission in the University of Lucknow. Ved, you haven't mentioned your Category. Nonetheless, you can take admission to BA Economics Honours Programme even if you belong to Jharkhand and do not hold the domicile of UP. Hope this helps.
Classrooms are good enough but there are no modern facilities. The library is there, but more organized and up to date in book editions. The college itself is good in terms of campus but the hostel facility is below average.
College infrastructure is really good , we have many facilities in our college campus , each department is very maintained and college campus is very green all over plants and trees , it also have huge library and cyber library too.
College infrastructure is good but it was quite old and non AC class rooms but the building was good. Fully wifi campus and department has computer lap aur library. Class room was big and sitting capacity of 80 students in class room
