Hello,

Due to the on going pandemic and the second wave of COVID-19 it is difficult to open schools and college and the students are not yet eligible to take vaccines which makes it more difficult for the educational institutes to open. So unless there is a decline in the second wave the colleges will not reopen. Though there is no news from the officials. To get better information you will have to contact the college officials. They will provide you with the latest information.

hello aspirant,

The cutoff is not released by the authorities and it will be released on the official website.Cutoff changes every year due to many factors like total students appearing for exam, difficulty level of paper, category etc factors,so its quite tough to say exactly the cutoffs.as you did not mention your category considering you from GEN category, 47 percentile would fetch score around 14 based on previous year analysis , and your score , you can have chances in the following colleges :

selvam educational institutions

muthurangam government arts college

annamalai university

E.G.S pillai engineering college

st.josephs college of engineering and technology

adhitya institute of technology

ganadipathy tulsi's jain engineering college

karpagam college of engineering

rathinam isntitute of managment

sri sai ram institute of technology

note that these are based on previous year cutoffs,as cutoff varies each year so are your chances into colleges.for more information refer to: https://bschool.careers360.com/articles/tancet-mba-cutoff

hope this helps,

thankyou.

Dear aspirant,

With a percentile of 47 it is absolutely not possible to get into University of Madras as the cut off for these kind of colleges are too high as compared to your percentile . I would recommend you to keep any other college as a backup.

Hello,

You have scored very average percentile. But you may still have Chances in any of the participating institutes of TANCET. Though official Cutoffs of TANCET have not been announced by Anna University, Conducting body of TANCET exam 2021 on behalf of Tamilnadu government. According to the expected Cutoff your rank will be around 1001-1500. With this rank it looks little difficult for you to get a seat in top colleges. But official Cutoff might be lower than this. But after the announcement of the official Cutoff you maybe able to get a seat in any of these colleges-

1. Rathnavel Subramaniam College of Arts and Science, Coimbatore

2. V.S.B Engineering College

3. University of Madras, Madras

4. Government Arts College, Tiruchirappalli

According to the expected Cutoffs, Closing ranks, for MCA, of these Colleges is the lowest and if the official Cutoff may get even lower than expected Cutoff then you might be able to secure a seat in any of these Colleges.

TO see more regarding the expected Cutoffs of TANCET, please go through this link

hi,

see you have to contact with the college authority to know about details of their new campus building and starting date. these information are internal details of college and only people associate with the particular college may know about this.

hope you understand.

Hi Aspirant,

You have very less chances of getting any colleges with this score. The cutoff for various colleges with that score in BC category are:

Thiagarajar School of Management Madurai cutoff is 49

Sri Sivasubramaniya Nadar College of Engineering, Kancheepuram cut off is 51

Kuma raguru College of Technology, Chinnavedampatti Post, Coimbatore cut off is 47 .33

St. Joseph’s College of Engineering, OMR, Chennai cut off is 4 3.667. Madras University cut off is 51. So you have very less chances of getting any colleges with that score.

Hello,

Due to the ongoing pandemic it is difficult to say when the offline classes will start. With the start of the second wave of the COVID-19 it is difficult to start colleges for everyone. As of now there is no information regarding when the college will reopen. You can contact your college and ask them as they will have the latest news regarding the reopening of they college. But for now it is difficult for the colleges to reopen it will take some time. You can find the latest news regarding the college in its official website. So you can check the website for the latest information,

The university will open according to state government guidelines. Due to the increase in COVID 19 cases that may be delayed. It will be released once all the admission procedures are completed, so it is not possible to predict anything based on assumptions. Keep checking their official website for timely updates and official notifications, once they reopen anyway you will be notified so please be patient. If you still want more information or really want to know about the dates, you can call them directly and ask about it. For more information, you can contact the university authority regarding this, they will give you a real picture.

I hope my answer helps. All the very best for your future endeavors!

College Infrastructure

Yes madras University has a huge campus, and surprisingly all the classes have lights and fans which is surprising. It has mediocre canteen facilities, the campus is moderately clean but it could be cleaner. Parking facility is available for staff as well students.
