Here are a few universities in Haryana you can consider:

  1. NIT Kurukshetra :

    • Admission here is competitive, and while 82.6 percentile may be on the lower side for highly sought-after branches like Computer Science, you might have a chance in other branches depending on the cutoffs for the year.
  2. Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram University of Science and Technology (DCRUST), Murthal :

    • This university offers a variety of engineering courses and has a good reputation. You might have a better chance of securing admission here.
  3. YMCA University of Science and Technology, Faridabad :

    • MRIIRS is another private university with good infrastructure and academic programs.

To increase your chances:

  • Participate in Counseling : Make sure to participate in the state counseling sessions for Haryana, as state quota seats might increase your chances of getting into a good university.
  • Explore Management Quota : Some private universities might offer admission through management quota if you do not secure a seat through regular counseling.
  • Consider Other Branches : If you are open to considering branches other than Computer Science, your chances of getting into a good university might increase.

Be sure to check the specific cutoffs and admission requirements for each university as they can vary year to year.

Predicting the exact college you'll get into at Central University of Gujarat (CUG) for B.Sc. Agriculture with a score of 196 in CUET is difficult. This is because the cut-off marks depend on several factors:

  • Total Number of Applicants: The higher the number of applicants, the higher the cut-off scores might be.
  • Seat Availability: The number of seats available specifically for B.Sc. Agriculture at CUG campuses will influence the cut-off.
  • Category-wise Cutoffs: There might be separate cut-offs for different categories like general, OBC, SC, ST, etc.

However, here are some options you can consider:

  • Check CUG Cutoff Trends: If previous year's CUET cut-off data or general admission trends for B.Sc. Agriculture at CUG are available, you can gauge your chances for specific campuses. Look for official CUG websites or reliable admission portals for such information.
  • Contact CUG Admissions Office: They might be able to provide more specific guidance based on the current application pool and seat availability.

Here's a general suggestion:

  • Apply to All CUG Campuses: Apply to all CUG campuses offering B.Sc. Agriculture. This increases your chances of securing a seat at one of them.
  • Prioritize Based on Preference: While applying, prioritize campuses based on your location preference and other factors.

Remember: Even with 196 marks, securing a seat isn't guaranteed. Explore other options like state agricultural universities or private colleges with good reputations and programs.

Additional Tips:

  • Look for colleges that accept CUET scores and have B.Sc. Agriculture programs.
  • Consider factors like hostel facilities, campus placements, and program specialization while choosing a college.

By following these suggestions and actively preparing for the admission process, you can increase your chances of securing a B.Sc. Agriculture seat at a good college.
