There are labs in every semester. The lab facility is very good. There are plenty of machines for studying. There are separate libraries for every department in the college. The hostel rooms and bathrooms are clean; however, the hostel food is very bad. Plenty of sports activities are available for both boys and girls
Teachers are very helpful and supportive in academics. They have proper knowledge about what they are teaching. The syllabus is outdated. They need to teach new technologies and innovative things. Semester exams are very tough and hard to pass.
They are placed according to their preference. Some chose for higher studies, and some went abroad for jobs. Everyone can apply for placement and are selected according to their performance in the interview. Main companies are Yamaha, Royal Enfield, Eicher. Everyone can participate in internships from the college. The college itself provides internship facilities inside the college.
There is a separate hostel for both boys and girls. Most of the rooms are on a 3-sharing basis. Double and single rooms are also available in small numbers. Hostels are very neat, clean, and well-maintained. Rooms are cleaned occasionally. Bathrooms are cleaned every day. Mess food is also good and hygienic.
Faculty members have a helping mentality towards students. Many have adequate knowledge in their respective domain. Many faculty members are good at imparting knowledge to students. Many of them do not give over burden on students. We have exams at the end of each semester. Lab exams are conducted at the end of the semester after completion of experiments
A number of companies are coming to this college, and we have a number of opportunities to get placed in those companies. Many of our former students have been placed in well-reputed companies across India. Companies like Sun Microsystems, TCS, Wipro, IBM, Eicher, Starlabs, etc., provide placements in our college. The average package offered by TCS is 3.25 LPA
There are big classrooms for each stream and each year. Also, they provide lab facilities, but some labs are very pathetic as they have very old and damaged equipment. The hostel they provide is very bad, especially the food, which is not even cooked properly.
Teachers are just average. Some won't help the students in either way, but some staff are really nice, as they need all their students to be successful in their lives. Also, they provide two exams in between a semester to analyse the students academic progress. Also, the teachers give many assignments, and some might not be known to the teachers themselves.
The placement cell of our college is not good. They just offer some local companies to the students, and the students have received very few packages. Also, they give placement assistance during the final year, which won't help students gain more confidence and preparation to attend interviews.
The facilities in the college are nice. The Wi-Fi availability, classrooms, and library are good and well-maintained, as my friends say the hostel quality is also very nice. But in some labs the machines are damaged, which I think is a bad thing, and otherwise everything is good.
The teachers are really helpful, and they are also very highly qualified, and still some of them are doing Ph.D. and other work. Exams are good, but we want to self. If we want to become an industry-ready student, we have to develop our skills. The pass percentage is 50%-60%. The exam level is moderate and if you study hard, you can score good marks
Many companies are coming to the college, and the number of students who are getting placed is less because most of the students fail in the interview. Those students with only skills are placed in many famous companies like TCS, Infosys etc. They are coming, but students with skills are placed. I think 15 LPA was last year's highest package. If you study hard and develop more skills, you can get placed
Hostel food is very good. The rooms are well-maintained. The service is also excellent. However, triple-sharing rooms have glass doors, which affects privacy and is not a suitable choice for students. Replacing them would improve comfort. We have good friends and a good life.
They teach well, and exams are easy and clear. The syllabus is manageable, though hard to explain. However, it feels more like a school with rules like wearing shoes, tucking in shirts, doing homework, etc., which can be a bit much for college life.
Here we are the 1st batch of BCA. College is very famous, wherever I go they all talk about Amal Jyothi. But they don't know the real MCA department. Placement is very good. Sometimes big company HR or someone comes to our lab and analyzes, that's a feel. It's like we are going to be someone
Infrastructure of our college is good. We can't find a better infrastructure in KTU-based colleges. Wi-Fi is available with good speed, but due to increasing loads, speed decreases. Classrooms are also very well equipped with LED TV screens and projectors. Labs are good
Faculty members in IT department are very helpful, supportive, and friendly. They offer their help in any way they can. The course curriculum is not bad for IT branch since we study most technologies.
Our class has 70 seats, all of which were filled first, but 2 students left to pursue other interests. Recruiting companies are SOTI, Safran, UST, Cognizant, etc. Some students also secured internship opportunities, while some students secured internships in their last semester without coming to college.
Our college offers good facilities and the infrastructure is also very good. Our college is one of the best among any college in Kerala. Hostel is good, with a canteen which serves best dishes. We have a lot of sports activities like football, cricket, basketball, volleyball, badminton, and some indoor games
Teachers are supportive and helpful. They try their best to encourage students who don't score good marks. Semester exams are conducted by the university, so exams are a bit tough. Pass percentage is about 60%-70%. The course curriculum is not very relevant, as we are studying a lot of unwanted subjects that are not of use for pursuing a specific career.
Around 40% of students got placed, and most opportunities are from IT industry. The highest salary package offered is 55 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 2.5 LPA. Top roles offered in our course are web developer, software engineer, and project lead.
Amal Jyothi College of Engineering has a good infrastructure and facilities. It has a well-equipped gym, a department library, and well-equipped laboratories. The classrooms have large computer screens like smartclass. The hostel is one of the best hostels with good infrastructure compared to other engineering colleges
The teachers at this college are excellent. They are friendly and have the capability to teach. Some of the faculty members are ex-students from my department. The exams are difficult because they are administered by KTU. The average pass percentage is 70-80%.
A good number of students have been placed in different companies. The average starting salary is around 15 to 30k. Students from ECE got placed in Royal Enfield too. Eicher, Tata, Wipro, and Infosys are some of the companies that students got placed from here.
good infrastructure. the classrooms and labs are well equipped and spacious. the playgrounds are well sset up for all kinds of sports. the library has a large collection of reference books. the canteen serves tasty food. the campus is eco friendly.
the professors are well experienced and supportive. the lectures are very effective along with the lab sessions. the lab instructors are alsoo very helpful. our syllabus is updated very often. i am a btech cs student.
our campus receives good placement opportunities. i am not aware of the exact count, but cs department receives most of the placements. major hiring companies are cognizant, ust and more. we have a placement cell for guidance during placements.
our college is worth the money
good campus experience. all celebrations are conducted here. there is ground for developing our hobbies and engaging in different club activities.
Excellent experience. Well established college and good education quality. Recommended to all students. One of the best colleges in Kerala.
ajce has a good infrastructure. the classrooms, labs and playgrounds are well equipped and spacious. the auditoriums and seminar halls are also very spacious and grand. the cafeteria serves tasty food. the library provides a calm study environment.
academics are good. the lecture sessions are effective. the lab sessions also help us to learn concepts. the teachers and lab instructors are very helpful and supportive. the syllabus is updated on a regular basis. i am btech cs student.
good placement opportunities. major recruiters are ibm, cognizant, safran and more. the placement cell gives instructions regarding placement opportunities. almost 80% of the students are placed with an above average salary package.
worth the money. good facilities
good campus life. we get engaged in many clubs and other professional societies. it gives us a chance to develop our skills and hobbies along with studies.
excellent experience till date. good college for engineering. recommended. worth the experience.
