The library has academic books. The quality of food in the hostel mess is average, but a canteen is available on campus. Medical facilities are available near campus. The college also provides sports facilities, like a badminton court, table tennis, an indoor games auditorium, cricket, football grounds, and a basketball court.
The teachers are experienced in their subject knowledge. The teaching quality is good. Semester exams are not so hard to clear. The curriculum is relevant to Computer Science Engineering courses and follows the relevant tech activities in software engineering
For the 2025- 26 batch, around 60% of students are placed. The highest package offered is 10 LPA, and the lowest is 4 LPA. The recruiting companies are RoboMQ, Celebal Technologies, In Time Tec, TCS, Tech Mahindra, etc. Students can get entry-level jobs in the tech industry.
There is Wi-Fi in the whole building. Library is great, very beautifully made, and the labs are well maintained with all equipments. We have all medical facilities, and mess food is all delicious with hygiene maintained. We have all the games from table tennis to swimming. Infrastructure is good, very clean and maintained,
The faculty in the ECE department is well-qualified, with many members holding PhDs and possessing strong research or industry experience. Most professors are helpful and approachable, and the teaching quality is generally good, particularly in core subjects. The curriculum is regularly updated to include industry-relevant topics such as IoT, VLSI, and machine learning, making it quite suitable for both higher studies and jobs. Semester exams are moderately challenging, with a good balance between theory and application-based questions. The pass percentage is high—usually above 90%—as long as students attend classes and remain consistent.
I have chosen Computer Science engineering, the top branch. Highest package was 55 LPA, and top companies come to recruit. As heard from seniors, competition is quite tough, we need to be perfectionists in our fields, with overall development.
Labs and classroom are good. The library has a vast collection of books and reference material with large sitting areas. But the baggage area outside is quite small in comparison. The sports centre is great, and has good quality equipment. The food in hostels is not that great though.
Some of the old teachers have great teaching experience but are quite strict. The course curriculum is very much based on exams only. There are ofcourse, courses available to make the students industry-ready. Semester exams are relatively difficult to get an A grade but you can pass the exams with some light study with cramming stuff.
About 85% of students definitely get placed in the main courses of computer engineering and computer science. Some students even get very high starting packages as well. Top roles offered are usually SDE, product managers, data analysts, and web developers.
University was really well built, and it had a really good infrastructure. The same goes for its hostels which were also very good. But at that price point, they were supposed to be good. We got Wi-Fi in classes and even in the hostel. The mess food was good in quality and taste.
Faculty members were really good. They were very polite and serious at the same time about their studies. They take studying seriously but also make it seem fun and an enjoyable event. Teachers always take up doubts. The semester exams were medium in difficulty. But some subjects were difficult.
The course was a bachelor's degree. Many students went for further study in different cities. There were no particular people who were looking for placements at that stage. Many chose MBA and some even chose law. There couldn't be a placement number that could be derived due to this.
Facilities and infrastructure available for our course were world class like international campus. Wi-Fi was available on the campus. Library was present with huge collection of books. Quality of hostel was also excellent. Multiple sports grounds were present.
Teachers were helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Teaching quality of our faculty members was extremely great. Course curriculum was relevant. It made students industry-ready. Semester examination was at a moderate level. Around 90-95% of students passed the exam.
Around 80-85% of students were placed in our course. The highest package offered in our course was 42 LPA. The average package was around 7 LPA - 8 LPA. Top recruiting companies were Tata Technologies, HAL, DRDO, etc. Around 50% of students also got internships
Facilities in college are great, with a digital library and many computerised labs. Hostel is also great, except for girls. Curfew is 5 pm, and girls aren't allowed to go outside, which is unbelievable (but girls go anyway). Hostel food is gonna be so boring for non-veg people, and the only facility for non-veg food inside the hostel is the canteen, but the service, and if you are unlucky, the food can also be.
Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable within their respective fields. Course curriculum is relevant to every branch of engineering as robotics and AI are an interdisciplinary course, covering mechanics, electrical, electronics, and AI. Semester exams are based on Bloom's taxonomy level, with continuing questions of easy to moderate level and very few high-level questions, evaluating the understanding of a particular subject for each student. Pass percentage of students on a subject depends on the overall performance of students who have the subject in a certain semester. This is called relative grading, so if many people perform well, the minimum pass percentage goes up.
Campus tries to provide everyone with placements from companies like NVIDIA, Infosys, Innspark, ISRO, etc. There's a placement cell just for this. Currently no one from this course has graduated yet, as the first batch is in their third year right now. This course offers cool professional electives and can land you in great roles in companies if you have a good CGPA and resume.
The infrastructure at Amrita Coimbatore is well-developed and modern. All classrooms are equipped with smart boards and projectors. Wi-Fi is available throughout the campus and is fairly stable. The department labs for CSE and AI are well-maintained with high-end systems and access to necessary software tools.
Faculty members at Amrita Coimbatore are highly qualified, knowledgeable, and supportive. Most professors hold PhDs and are approachable for doubts or project guidance. The course curriculum is well-structured and regularly updated with industry trends, covering core subjects like Data Structures, DBMS, AI, and electives.
Over 90% of students from our course were placed, with top recruiters like Amazon, Microsoft, Cisco, Zoho, Cognizant, TCS, Accenture, and Deloitte actively hiring. The highest package offered was around 56 LPA (Amazon SDE), the lowest around 4 LPA.
Infrastructure of our college is also good and is full of greenery, which gives fresh air, and hostels are also good on our campus. Every floor contains a speed Wi-Fi network, and classrooms are clean and neat, with well-maintained food in hostel that is healthy and of good taste.
Our faculty members are highly talented and have good teaching skills. They are student-friendly, explanations are good, and all teachers are qualified and knowledgeable. This course curriculum is relevant, and it makes the students industry-ready. Semesters are tough to get good marks in.
For our senior batch (2025), approximately 85-90% of students secured placements. The highest package offered was rupees 30 LPA (primarily for software roles), while the average was about rupees 7-8 LPA, and the lowest was around rupees 3.5 LPA. Top recruiters included Microsoft, Cisco, Qualcomm, Deloitte, TCS Digital, and Micron, with companies providing both core and IT roles. About 70-75% of students also obtained internships at firms such as Intel, NXP, Deloitte, and Tonbo Imaging. The primary roles offered ranged from software developer and data analyst to Embedded Systems Engineer and VLSI Design Engineer.
College offers good infrastructure. The classrooms are good, and the labs are up-to-date with modern equipment. The computer labs are well-maintained with high-speed internet, supporting IT students. The library is resourceful, with books, journals, and digital study material. Hostel facilities are safe and provide decent living conditions with Wi-Fi and food. Sports are also well Encouraged.
Faculty teach in a practical way and encourage students to go beyond the syllabus. Faculty members support students in projects, paper presentations, and coding competitions. Many of them also motivate students to prepare for competitive exams like GATE or GRE. Workshops and guest lectures by experts are common, adding to industrial exposure.
Placements are decent in my college and mostly dominated by IT service-based companies. Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and Cognizant are some regular recruiters. The average package offered is around ₹4 LPA, while some students have received higher offers of ₹8–10 LPA. The placement department provides training from the third year, including aptitude, coding practice, and mock interviews. Core companies visit but in smaller numbers.
College is well known for its greenery and peaceful surroundings. Academic blocks are neat, and classrooms are equipped with projectors. Labs are available with sufficient resources for practical learning, especially in CSE and ECE. The library is spacious and provides access to e-books and journals. Hostels are decent with Wi-Fi and good food facilities. The college also encourages sports and cultural activities, with grounds and auditoriums for events.
Teachers are cooperative and helpful. Most of them are well-qualified and use modern teaching methods. They guide students with projects, certifications, and coding practices that are useful for placements. Professors are approachable and provide mentorship for career goals, whether jobs or higher studies. Guest lectures, seminars, and industry interactions are organized often to give real-world knowledge.
Placements are average to good, its totally depends upon department. IT and CSE students get better opportunities, with companies like Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, and Tech Mahindra being regular recruiters. The average package is about ₹3.5–4 LPA, while some top students manage higher packages in product-based companies. The placement training cell organizes workshops to improve aptitude, communication, and coding skills. For non-IT branches, opportunities exist but are relatively fewer.
SJBI T is usually good than AMC engineering College in case of study of engineering and particularly CSE. It provides more solid placements, quality, faculty, and improve academic support. AMC is okay with no consistency in placements and industry exposure. SABIT will offer a better option in growth of the career in the long run.
