Hello Reddi

COngratulations for securing a decent rank in AP EAMCET but with this rank you won't be getting core branches like electronics or mechanical in Andhra University. The cut offs for the core branches are usually around 2K which is not even closer to 7K. However you may get branches like-:

  • Metallurgical Engineering
  • Naval Architechture and Marine Engineering
  • Biotechnology
  • Civil ceramics

Hope this helps,

Stay connected for further queries.

All the Best!

Dear Ankitha,

The probability of securing a seat also depends on caste reservation, locality status. Hence I'll provide you with general information that is there are only 30 seats available in the university and it doesn't show the cut offs for this course. Hence you can find the information only while counselling. But however the chances to secure a seat are very low.

Hope this helps.

All the best.

Hello, Kiran

It has got a better ranking overall for the entire University, One of the oldest universities in the country and top government College in the state and only Limited number of students per class, there are only 30-40 seats in each department and 60 in a  few of them. The placements are only 40-45%.overall it is the best University in the state when compared with other colleges but still, not good as compared to IIT and NIT. Apart from the academics part, the college has some of the excellent curricular in the University to enhance the skills.
