Students who have above 80% of marks were placed from our course. The highest salary package offered is 32 LPA, the lowest salary package offered is 3.5 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 6 LPA. GMRIT is good as compared to ANITS the greenery attracts you more than any thing else. College provide good infrastructure. It is a pollution and horn free campus. The College provides good sport arena which make u physically fit and mentally strong. Campus is 150 acre with clean road connectivity from department to department. And Canteen is similar to Canteen in movies. Faculty won't suffice to college. Some faculty may not teach well. Placements also good.

Both the branches that you mentioned in your query is good for engineering. However, IT branch has broader scope and many job related opportunities. You should choose the branch or college as per your preference.

As per the past year councelling the cutoffs for Andhra university ranges from 908-52818 with cse having the lowest and mechanical having the highest cutoff.

Hence it could be difficult for you to get cse as the branch in this university. Even ece and civil might be a bit difficult to get. But these cutoffs are highly volatile and change every year due to various reasons and this year's cutoff can't be predicted.

But you can always get into this university and try changing your branch after an year.
