AFMC Pune All Questions

Dear Aspirant!!

Admission at Armed forces medical college (AFMC) for PG courses is done through Armed forces medical services (AFMS) counselling. You have to score a minimum of 50 percentile in NEET PG to be eligible for counselling. Counselling is done through various rounds to fill various seats across all categories.
During AFMS counselling you have to give your preferences. Supposedly you secure a seat in AFMC then you are required to reach to that particular college with the admission letter in the given time. Failing to do so will result in cancelation of the alloted seat.

If you want to get into afmc , then neet is the entrance exam you need to appear for as students are shortlisted on the basis of marks obtained in neet , and since your aim is get into afmc you need to target at least 600 marks in neet.The students shortlisted on the basis of neet marks are then called for Test of English Language, Comprehension, Logic, and Reasoning  which is called ToELR,and then comes Psychological Assessment Test i.e. PAT, and then  Interview and finally you have to go through your Medical Examination which is   held in the month of June / July at Afmc Pune and then finally students are selected for admission in AFMC.

Hello,  It's not true, because I never heard about any medical college that is proving education free of cost.  In AFMS also fees is applied as per follow

university fees

Mess charges

course fee

allied charges.

so you have to pay for this and it has fixed amount.

In general there is no cast wise Cutoff there is category wise Cutoff which means There are four cast category i.e general, obc, sc and st. Out of these four obc, sc and st is eligible for reservation if eligible. Recently the government has started giving reservations to economically backward general candidates also which is 10%.

Cut off marks for Medical Colleges like AFMC keeps changing every year depending upon several factors like number of students that appeared in the exam, kind of marks scored by students, toughness level of exam etc . Fir exam 2019 cutoff marks for AFMC was 596/720 for boys whereas  610/720 for girls.  But in 2018 it was 551/720 for both  boys and girls.  So , if you want to get into AFMC try to get Around 600 marks in neet.

• There are 145 seats available in AFMC, PUNE.
• from them 117 are for the male candidates
• And the remaining 28 go for the female candidates
• In 145, 10 seats are reserved for the Sc / St candidates.
• So overall you need to come in the first 500 rank only even if you are Sc OR st to ensure your seat in this dream college.

You need to give neet exam for getting into mbbs in AFMC and qualify it and then mandatorily register and apply for AFMC, Pune on DGHS website: www.mcc.nic.in during the registration window provided by the DGHS. After the last date of registration, list of candidates who have applied for AFMC, Pune will be provided by DGHS. The NEET Roll No. of the candidates who are shortlisted for the screening at AFMC, Pune based on merit will be displayed on the website. The shortlisted candidates will be called for  ToELR Test   which includes questions from English Language, Comprehension, Logic, and Reasoning ,and Psychological Assessment Test (PAT), Interview and Medical Examination to be held in the month of June / July at AFMC, Pune and then selected students will get admission in AFMC , Pune.
