Dear Aaradhana, There are a total of 145 seats in AFMC. 115 seats are for boys and 30 seats are for girls. 10 seats out of these 145 are alloted to SC/ST Candidates. For the entire duration of the course, the fees comes upto Rs. 2,70,000 approximately and this may be updated any time. This is the same across all Categories and there is no concession for Minorities per se. Dear Ashok, AFMC doesn't have neurology as a specialisation. It doesn't have MS Neurology but has MCh Neurosurgery as a superspeciality. This course is only available for service officers. Any vacant seats left after filling with eligible and qualified Service officers will be given for civilians. Such positions will be filled through relevant entrance examination which is NEET PG. These are the visual standards for afmc:
Distant vision 6/6 --------- 6/18
Near vision N5 --------- N8
myopia not more than -3.5D
hypermetropia not more than +3.5D
Also yiu should have good binocular vision
minimum color vision standard CP-3
So dear, your chances are less, with this eyesight..but you should give a try, because there is always hope for the best..

Sorry to say but a score of 460 or 470 will definitely not fetch you ARMED FORCES MEDICAL COLLEGE, PUNE.
The last year's cutoff for AFMC, Pune was 551/ 720 marks for both the boys and girls, irrespective of the category of the candidate.
Although cutoff vary every year, but with a score of 470 you have no chance of getting into this college.
