it is clearly depends on the cut off the medical colleges. as cut off will depend on the level of toughness of exam. so i can not give a clear or adject marks but i suggest you to score more than 520 in the neet as on this score you can get choice to choose a college.

Dear Debora, if you have qualified for NEET PG, you can apply for AFMC PG admissions. You can apply online at their official website before the last date. You should have registered for AFMC  counselling on DGHS website www.mcc.nic.in. A priority wise merit list will be prepares after the receipt of list of registered candidates and the details will be uploaded on DGHS websitte and AFMS website.

Here is the eligibility criteria for the Armed Forces Medical Colleges;

1. The candidates need to be physically and mentally fit, free from the any kind of disorders and disabilities.

2. The minimum height and weight required;

  • For girls- minimum height of 144 cms and minimum weight of 36 kgs.
  • For boys- minimum height of 157.5 cms and minimum weight of 47 kgs. The minimum height for the Gorkhas, Nepalese, Assamese, and Garhwali is 152.5 cms.

3. Age criteria, the candidates should complete their 17 years by 31 December, 2019 and age should not be more than 24 years at the time of admission.

4. Candidates should passed their 10th class with Mathematics as one of the subject.

Hey padile nikhil , glad you are considering joining armed forces medical college and serve our country and it's soldiers. If you join afmc , you LL have plenty of benefits and allowances. And yes you can even do your post graduate in afmc but not just like that. You have to understand that you will work for few years after MBBS and u LL be addressed as captain and you will be paid and provided with all allowances and later u LL be eligible to give the pg exam. And choose the field of your interest ..hope this helps..good luck.

Cut offs for AFMC are as follows:

For 2018, 

It was 551/720 for both boys and girls

For 2017,

It was 570/720 for boys and 600/720 for girls

So there is possibility that it can be in a range of 550 to 650 for this year.

A post graduate (PG) degree in the medical sciencea from any college in India is called the MD degree, done after MBBS.

After doing it, you can go for specialised medicine consulting in niche roles or opt for academic research.

A colour blind candidate can't be denied admission in MBBS in medical colleges if they have successfully cleared the entrance exam. So, yes one can get admission in this college if they have secured a good score in the entrance test even if they have colour blindness.

AFMC is premium college and comes among top 5 college in india. Admission process to this college is based on NEET exam only. Students who wishes to take admission in this college have to appear fpr NEET exam and on basis of neet result counselling starts and admissions are done.
