The admission for MBBS in Armed Forces Medical College, Pune has not yet begun. The admission for the AFMC is based on the NEET scores. As the NEET has not been conducted yet, so, does the admission process has not yet started.
When the NEET results are announced, AFMC Pune will release the merit list. Then, a psychometric test and a written ability test is conducted followed by a interview. Then, a final selection list is released by the concerned authorities.

Radiology is the three years degree course. This is a paramedical course. The main work of radiologist to operator the radiography for treatment of any disease which occur inside the body.
So for this course you don't need such kind of entrance examination. Because almost every colleges conduct the admission via 12th class merit list. So the main eligibility criteria here

Nope! Without studying in AFMC you can't be a Army Doctor. The main reason for this is that Army Doctors have to be very instantaneous and there treatment procedures are to be done in rough condition where you may not get any hospital setup. Thus the doctors we see and the life of the army doctors are completely different as a result they need some special training and for this without AFMC one can' be an Army doctor.
If you want to join army, then you need to study at AFMC (Armed Forces Medical College) which is situated in Pune. Before AFMC used to conduct entrance examination by itself but now the admission is done partially on the basis of NEET score.
The eligibility criteria for the course:
1. He/she must be a Citizen of India.
2. He/she must be unmarried throughout the course.
3. He/she should be medically fit according to the criteria issued by the Ministry of Defence.
4. He/she should have completed 17 years of age but should not be more than 22 years of age (24 years if you're doing a BSc degree and are in final year/have passed).
5. Achievement of at least 60% in PCB and 50% individually in each subject along with English. Also, he/she should have passed all the subjects in their first attempt. Passing in Mathematics in 10th standard is also required.
The admission process is of 3 steps. First you have to apply as per your NEET score. If you get selected then you will be required to sit for a CBT examination in which you would be asked question from English, Logical reasoning and you have to answer 40 question in 30 minutes. The marks in NEET and the online examination will be added and divided by 4 in order to get a marks in 200. Based on that you will be called for an Interview which will comprise of 50 marks. If you qualify interview then you have to study the course in AFMC and after that only you can be an Army doctor.
The seats at AFMC are very less (105 seats for Male candidates and 25 for Female candidates).

If you want to join Armed Forces Medical College, Pune for the MBBS course, then, it is mandatory for you to appear for the NEET Exam. If you do not made into NEET, you cannot get into AFMC Pune. Also, there are only 25 seats for girls and the cutoff is really very high. After getting shortlisted, AFMC Pune will conduct a Written Ability Test followed by Interview and Medical tests. The final merit list is made after considering all these factors.

The cadets are offered placements in the all three armed forces wing such as air force, navy and military force as a medical officer with a rank similar to that of NDA cadets. They have an option to choose between SSC (short service commission) and PC (permanent commission) and also subject to the seat availability, or you can pay out by paying 28 Lacs, which is the bond-money as of the year, 2016.

No, it is not compulsory to qualify Neet examination is the first attempt to be eligible for AFMC but yes it is mandatory to qualify your 12th board examination in the first attempt to be eligible for AFMC.
This is because,
As per eligibility criteria of AFMC to be eligible you should pass all the subjects in your class 12th in your first attempt with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology and must get at least 60% in PCB i. e Physics, Chemistry and Biology and at least 50% marks in English and 50% marks individually in each of PCB , also should have studied and passed maths in the class 10th.
Also,
You must be at least 17 years of age by 31st December of the year in which you application, for example if you are applying in 2021 then to be eligible you should be at least 17 years old by 31st December 2021. Also, you must not be more than 24 years of age.

If you want to get into afmc, you need to have at least around 650 marks in neet examination to be on the safer side.
For example,
In 2019 , 596 marks was required for boys and 610 marks in neet was required for girls to get into AFMC
After qualifying neet cut off of AFMC , you will have to give some additional examination to get admission in AFMC , that is :-
*Test of English Language, Comprehension, Logic, and Reasoning which is called ToELR,
*Psychological Assessment Test i.e. PAT,
* Interview
After clearing these, finally you will have to go through your Medical Examination then finally you are selected for admission in AFMC.

Armed forces medical College Pune will be conducting the admission process to AFMC Colleges in 2020 through Neet score. After announcement of Neet results, the authority will release the application form for Admission to AFMC. You'll have to apply for the same and enter all the details required there. Then submit the application and pay the application fee. After that, AFMC will release merit list based on the score obtained in Neet. Based on the meeit list screening test will be done. And those who will be selected in the screening test will have to report to the college for furthur processes.
