Arul College of Technology situated at Radhapuram, an engineering institution of high repute co-educationally, Tirunelveli District. The college has AICTE approval and is known to offer various B.Tech programs, maintaining quality education through these years. Having almost introduced four decades of history, Arul College of Technology has been a technical training ground for budding engineers. The admission process usually starts during August-September for the academic year concerned.

The college gives admission into various engineering streams such as Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, and Computer Science and Engineering.

Application Process

1. Eligibility Check: Make sure you satisfy the eligibility requirements of having passed the 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as core subjects, from a recognized board. 

2. Get the Application Form: Get the application form, fill it up correctly, and submit it. This may either be available from the college website or the college admission office. Ensure all details have been filled in and are correct.

3. Document Submission: Together with the application form submit the following documents:

• Mark sheets of 10 th and 12 th (Original and photocopy)
• Transfer Certificate
• Conduct Certificate
• Community Certificate (if applicable)
• Recent passport-sized photographs

4. Entrance Test: Appear for the particular state-level engineering entrance test required by the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) process

5. Counselling: Those shortlisted based on performance in the entrance tests would be called to counselling as per the schedule declared by TNEA.

6. Selection of College: During counselling, select Arul College of Technology and the desired B.Tech program according to the rank obtained and seat availability.

7. Admission to be confirmed: Upon being allotted a seat, report to Arul College of Technology for document verification and confirmation of admission, as per the declared timeframe.

8. Admission Fee Payment: Complete the admission process by paying the necessary fees as prescribed by the college.

Degree Wise Admission Process

B.Tech: Arul College of Technology has four B-Tech programs: Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, and Computer Science and Engineering; each of these programs has a different intake capacity. The admission to B-Tech programs is based on merit following the TNEA counseling process. The courses are as follows with intake capacities:

1. B.Tech Mechanical Engineering-120 seats
2. B.Tech Civil Engineering-120 seats
3. B.Tech Electronics and Communication Engineering-60 seat
4. B.Tech Computer Science-60 seats

To be eligible for these programs, a candidate should have completed 10+2 in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Admission is generally granted based on the performance of the candidates in the qualifying examination along with the state-level engineering entrance examination.
