The Placement Cell of Assam Engineering College invites the companies for campus placement.
Resumes of the interested students are collected by the TPC for future requirement during the Assam Engineering College placement drive.
The company provides the job details and the eligibility criteria to the cell that is then intimated to the students.
Company then visits the campus for conducting the pre-placement talk.
Company shortlists the students according to their eligibility criteria and other academic requirements.
Shortlisted candidates are a part of the Assam Engineering College placement process.

The overall placement is good in Assam Engineering College. There are a lot of recruiters who come to recruit at an average salary of 6 lakhs per annum and sometimes is goes more than that. The highest placement package last year was 18 lakhs per annum from Chemical Engineering branch.
