BEC Bapatla Facilities

Bapatla Engineering College provides ample facilities for the students, staff and faculty members. BEC Bapatla facilities include girls hostel, library, medical clinic, IT infrastructure, transport, bank, cafeteria, sports, gym, auditorium, etc. Bapatla Engineering College facilities are provided with the aim of overall growth and development of the students. Bapatla Engineering College facilities are a library that provides both physical and online resources and an on-campus medical clinic. The clinic provides both primary and emergency treatment. Bapatla Engineering College facilities include an IT infrastructure is well-maintained, a huge auditorium that can accommodate a large audience and controls the networking of the entire campus. Girls Hostel
The college hostels are very comfortable for the accommodation of outstation students. Bapatla Engineering College hostel facilities include furniture, modern appliances, round-the-clock medical clinic and 24X7 ambulance.
Medical/Hospital
The BEC Bapatla medical clinic provides basic first-aid treatment to the students, college staff and faculty members with the help of a visiting doctor. In the case of medical emergencies, the college provides 24X7 on service ambulance facility. Students can also visit the hospital of the visiting doctor for preferential treatment.
Library
Bapatla Engineering College library facilities include textbooks, reference books, national and international journals, periodicals, newspapers, magazines, CDs, DVDs, e-books, e-journals and many more. The library is installed with SOUL software to fully automate the services and uses OPAC software and barcoding to easily access the resources. Reprography and photocopying facilities are also available in the library. The library also provides a book bank facility for SC and ST students. The book bank is funded by TEQIP and provides a diverse collection of books. BEC Bapatla library also offers laptops to help the students in the project work.
Sports
Various games like cricket, tennis, volleyball, shuttle badminton, basketball, athletics are provided by the Bapatla Engineering College sports department. Students are also encouraged to participate in various sports for physical and mental well-being.
I.T Infrastructure
The college has a fully air-conditioned computer centre, equipped with servers and nodes and implements AT&T structured cabling compliance. The computers are enabled with the latest software like Rational Suite, Informatica, Turbo C++, Oracle 10gi, Clementine, MS Fortran 5, etc.
Cafeteria
Bapatla Engineering College cafeteria is well-furnished and well-ventilated. Hygienic food is provided in the college canteen.
Auditorium
BEC Bapatla has a spacious auditorium, which is used for organising events and seminars. BEC Bapatla auditorium facilities include the latest equipment like projectors and audio-video systems.
Transport Facility
BEC Bapatla transport facilities include a fleet of buses. The buses ply between Bapatla city to the campus on all working days. Students and faculty members can avail the facility at nominal charges.

The college has a branch of State Bank of India on the campus. This saves both the energy and time of students and staff in conducting monetary transactions. Students can easily pay the college fees in this extension centre without travelling. The bank has also started providing all banking services online. The campus also has a post office.

College Infrastructure

The college is good there are good classrooms with sofisticated benches and new boards. There are very big computer labs with full of ac, the computers are very fast and there are labs also for chemistry and physics.

College is full of trees every where ,around the college we have very beautiful fields with fresh air,all the building blocks are very big and beautiful,there are seperate blocks for every department.very nice infrastructure.

CSE COURSE BAPATLA ENGINEERING COLLEGE OR VIGNAN UNIVERSITY WHERE JOIN BETTER

Hello Aspirant,

With both Bapatla Engineering College (BEC) and Vignan's Foundation for Science, Technology and Research (Vignan University) offering Computer Science Engineering (CSE) programs, the best choice depends on which factors matter to you:

Academics and Affordability: BEC has a structure and rigor in academic environment, on the other hand BEC is usually cheaper. This is a good call for those who want to undertake a focused engineering education in a cheap manner.
Infrastructure and Exposure: On the other side, Vignan University has modern infrastructure, a bigger campus, better facilities, better exposure in terms of workshops, global tie-ups and placement training. However, it comes with a higher price.
Placements: If you take placements into consideration, CSE in both are going to produce decent placements, however, Vignan University at a slight edge (may not be factually correct), as it is a private university and it has wider network.

If you are looking for better academic rigour as well as affordability, BEC is for you. If you are looking for a holistic campus experience with better infrastructure and exposure to industry , you can go for Vignan University.

Bapatla Engineering college provides Hostel facility only for Girls.

BEC uniquely provides on-campus hostel facility to its girl student community. This hostel accommodating 1600 girl students is maintained on the self-run basis by students themselves. The residents of the hostel are provided with 24 hrs hot water supply through solar water heaters.

Hope you are doing well !

Almost 90% of the students get placed from college . The highest salary package offered was 7 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 3. 5 LPA. Companies like HCL, Infosys, TCS, ValueLabs, and IBM visit the campus.. It is a good college for students who can build their career on their own and interested in studies..
