Baroda Homeopathic Medical College & Hospital, popularly known as BHMCH, is one among the major instituting bodies for homeopathy teaching in the state of Gujarat, India. This college has affiliated as one of its associated institutes to the Central Council of Homeopathy and has a complete course structure in homeopathic medicine. BHMCH adopts a stringent admission process, considering only the most talented and outstanding for its different courses. Most times, the admission period at BHMCH synchronizes with the academic year that usually starts in August-September every year. For Bachelor degrees admission, the college bases all its undergraduate admissions according to NEET UG scores. Meanwhile, the postgraduate admissions run according to AIAPGET (All India AYUSH Post Graduate Entrance Test) performance. Degree wise Admission Process
BHMS : The Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery program at BHMCH has an intake of 100 seats. Admission is based on NEET UG scores and is conducted through the Centralized Admission Committee. Candidates should be 10+2 qualified with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English and should attain the required NEET UG percentile score (50% for general category, 40% for OBC/ST/SC).
MD Homoeopathic Materia Medica: This is a postgraduate program comprising 6 seats. Admission is described on the basis of the AIAPGET scoring followed by counseling and interview. Candidates holding BHMS degree and scoring 50% marks in the AIAPGET.
MD Organon of Medicine and Homoeopathic Philosophy: It has 6 seats, and this program is conducted on the same lines as the other MD programs. AIAPGET scores followed by counseling and conduct of interviews are parts of the admission process.
MD Homoeopathic Repertory and Case Taking: This is another specialized MD program and has an intake of 6 seats. Admission conditions are based on AIAPGET performances followed by counseling.
MD Paediatrics: Yet another option for graduate students in the postgraduate category, this one contains 6 seats and follows the same MD admission process based exactly on AIAPGET scores and afterwards counseling.
MD Practice of Medicine: Like the rest, this MD program has 6 seats and follows the admission process centralized through AIAPGET and counseling.
This university has Great teachers who are technically very sound and very friendly. Their curriculum is very much structured and industry friendly. Students are able to make themselves industry ready through that.
The college has great facilities regarding teaching staff infrastructure and many more i.e, hostels, canteens, Library, Computer room, Reading halls etc. The course provided by this college have relatively low fees structure.
