Government Medical College, Surat (GMC Surat) is a renowned college, providing quality medical and allied science education. The Government Medical College admission adheres to a rigorous process to choose the best and most worthy candidates for its different courses. The admission process of Government Medical College usually starts in May-June for admission in August-September of the same year. The Government Medical College admission offers on national-level entrance exams and NEET-UG for undergraduate and NEET-PG for postgraduate courses.
For MBBS at the undergraduate level, the minimum requirement to qualify is 10+2 from a recognised board with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as mandatory subjects. A minimum aggregate of 50% marks in the entrance exam is normally mandatory. For postgraduate, the applicants should have passed the MBBS degree from a recognised university.

Admission in MBBS of GMC Surat is based on the NEET-UG score of the candidate. GMC Surat offers 250 seats in MBBS. The candidates should pass 10+2 in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology and NEET-UG to get admission.
GMC Surat provides several MD and MS courses like General Surgery, obstetrics and gynaecology, general medicine, Anaesthesiology, etc. Government Medical College admissions for all these programmes are on the basis of NEET-PG scores. They Teach By PPT Their Lec Is very Boring And Less Informative They Waste time Of students By teaching Through PPT They Don't conduct Weekly tests The Teachers Don't solve Doubts In pg there r just ppt presentation rather than proper lecture. So academics vise ug pg very poor Curriculum not updated there are almost no developments there is just toxic culture which makes u cram n tortures u a lot
Average. Some of the professor below average. Lab facilities really good lab technician are really good lecturers are good classroom also good. Teaching can be improved a lot. Good friends improve the experience.
