The Baroda Sanskrit College, Vadodara, is one of the Indian institutions to facilitate the learning and preservation of Sanskrit and its literature. As part of Maharaja Sayajirao University, it has combined traditional learning with teaching methods. Under this constituent college are other unique programs for Channelizing merit and inclusive systems for accepting students into various courses in Sanskrit. Degree wise  Admission Process

BA Programs: Baroda Sanskrit Mahavidyalaya has several BA specialized programs like BA Dharmashastra, BA Jyotishshastra, BA del Sahityashastra, BA Shukla Yajurveda, BA Vastushastra, BA Vedantshastra, and BA vyakaranshastra. Admission into these programs depends on the performance of the candidate at the level of 10 on the subject of Sanskrit and, related areas.

MA Program: As for the same, the institution imparts MA degrees such as MA with specialization in Dharmashastra, MA Jyotishshastra, MA Sahityashastra, MA in Shukla Yajurveda, MA in Vastushastra, MA in Vedantshastra, and MA in Vyakaranshastra. A relevant degree usually is held by an individual interested in joining these programs. Generally, selection is based on the marks gained in the qualifying degree and the candidates' overall profile.

Diploma in Vastushastra: This is a specialized program dealing with traditional Indian architecture as well as design. There may be some specific prerequisite school requirements for admission to this diploma course around architecture or relevant areas.
