Bharat Institute of Nursing Training, Jalandhar Admission Process

Bharat Institute of Nursing Training, Jalandhar, is an affiliated college well known for bestowal of optimal nursing education for women only. The location of the college is V.P.O Mudh, Tehsil Nakodar which has affiliation with Indian Nursing Collegium (INC) along with nursing courses.  Bharat Institute of Nursing Training initiation designed selection apt candidates for the nursing programs.  Different programs have different admission eligibility criteria. For the substantial nursing courses, a student should pass the 10+2 level in relevant core subjects for admission. The institute offers four full-time nursing programs having different requirements and duration concerning each program.

2. Application Form: Interested candidates are to obtain and fill application form. This may be available online on the institute's website or can be collected in person from the institute's admission office.

3. Document Submission: Along with the completed application form, candidates are required to submit necessary documents. These typically include:

  • 10 and 12 standard mark sheets, 
  • School leaving certificate, 
  • Character certificate, 
  • Medical fitness certificate, 
  • Caste certificate (if applicable), 
  • Recent passport size photographs

4. Application Fee: Candidates should pay the set application fee which has to be confirmed from the institute towards the mode of payment and fee amount.

Procedure of Admission Degree wise

B.Sc Nursing: This is a four-year program with an intake capacity of 50 students. Candidates seeking admission to the B.Sc Nursing program must have completed their 10+2 education with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as their core subjects. The selection process may include consideration of academic performance in the qualifying examination.

Post Basic B.Sc Nursing: This two-year program has an intake of 20 students. It is designed for registered nurses who wish to upgrade their qualifications. Applicants must have completed their GNM (General Nursing and Midwifery) course and possess a valid nursing registration certificate.

GNM (General Nursing and Midwifery): This is a three-year program with the highest intake of 60 students. Applicants will be eligible if they have completed 10+2 mostly with science subjects. The selection may be based on academic merit and any additional criteria set by the institute.

ANM (Auxiliary Nurse Midwifery): This is the 2 years course with intake of 20. It is applicable for students that have completed their 10 & above education. This mainly provides the learner in training the basic needs based on nursing and midwifery.
