Bijni College, Chirang, is a well-known co-educational college affiliated to Bodoland University and recognized by the Indian National Accreditation Council (NAAC). The institution imparts various undergraduate and postgraduate programs in nearly all disciplines. The admission processes at Bijni College are purely on merit; therefore, qualifying students are given fair opportunities to pursue their courses of ambitions. Generally speaking, admissions begin from August up to September in accordance with the institution's academic calendar. Candidates, For all courses, admissions are made on a competitive basis for which academically qualified students are selected from the qualifying examination for admission.

7. After Counselling and Admission: For the shortlisted candidates, counselling will be arranged to choose their preferred course based on their merit ranks and seat availability.
8. After Payment of Fees: Selected candidates will, within the prescribed period of time, pay the admission fees to secure a seat.

Admission Process Degree wise
BA NO. 1- Bijni College has a programme of BA General with a total of 600 seats and there are some BA Honours programmes with 50 seats each of which are added below. The specializations in BA Honours include Assamese, Bengali, Bodo, English, Economics, Education, Philosophy, Political Science, and History. Admission to these undergraduate programmes will be based on the merit of candidates' 10+2 results.
B.Sc. B.Sc. General programme with 200 seats and B.Sc. Honours programmes in Botany, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics and Zoology with 30 seats each. The basis of admission strictly is merit, taking into consideration the performance of the applicants in 10+2 examinations with strong weightage in science subjects.
MA Programs include an MA in Assamese with an intake of 30 and an MA in English with 25. Admission to this programme takes place on the basis of the merit on the candidates' respective undergraduate degree results in the respective discipline.
Admissions for all courses are done competitively for which academically qualified students out of the qualifying examination are selected for admission.
