BA (Bachelor of Arts): Admission to BA courses, such as different honours courses like Bengali, Geography, History, Nepali, Sociology, English, and Political Science, is done on the basis of merit lists drawn up according to the directions of the University of North Bengal. The decision of the admission sub-committee is final in all admissions.
B.Com (Bachelor of Commerce): Admissions to general as well as honours courses in Commerce are done through merit lists prepared as per the guidelines of the university. The procedure is the same as in the case of BA courses.
B.Sc (Bachelor of Science): Birpara College provides B.Sc courses in different subjects, such as Computer Science, Botany, Zoology, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Physics. All these courses are self-financed. Admission is done on the basis of merit lists prepared according to the directions of the university, with the final authority lying with the admission sub-committee.
Teachers are good and helpful but most of the teachers only think of completing the syllabus. The students are least interested in attending the classes. The courses are well updated. I don't think the courses make us job ready, they are only given so that we can pass the examination.
