The college is not much money demanding and offers courses at very understandable rates. The fees is not high for an average student and everyone can easily afford. And the quality of education that you get is at par with other colleges that are present.
Campus life is very good with the college having canteen and ground for the friends to chill and hangout at one place.

BM Institute of Engineering & Technology (BMIET) in Sonipat offers a moderately good infrastructure for engineering students. The campus is spread over a decent area with separate academic and hostel blocks. Classrooms are spacious and equipped with projectors in some departments. The library is functional with a good range of books, although access to latest journals and e-resources can be improved. Labs are available for each stream, but not all equipment is up-to-date, which can affect hands-on learning in some branches. Hostel facilities are average, with basic amenities provided. Wi-Fi is available but not very reliable throughout the campus. Sports facilities exist, but they are limited and not very well maintained. The canteen serves decent food, though the variety is limited. Overall, the infrastructure is just sufficient to meet academic needs but doesn’t stand out as highly modern or cutting-edge. The college has made efforts in maintaining cleanliness and greenery, which is a plus. Transport is provided by the college for students from nearby areas. While it may not compare with top-tier private colleges, for a regional engineering institute, the infrastructure of BMIET is fairly reasonable and fulfills the basic academic and residential needs of students.
Academics at BMIET are satisfactory but not exceptional. The curriculum follows Indraprastha University (IPU) guidelines, and the syllabus is mostly theoretical with limited focus on practical or industry-relevant skills. Faculty members are cooperative and knowledgeable in their respective subjects, but not all are industry-experienced. Teaching is largely lecture-based, with fewer interactive or project-oriented methods. Attendance policies are moderately strict, and internal assessments are regularly conducted. While some departments like Computer Science and Electronics show decent performance in terms of results and activities, other branches may lack consistency in academic delivery. The college occasionally organizes workshops, technical seminars, and guest lectures, but the frequency and quality vary. There is a lack of industry collaboration, which reflects in limited exposure to real-world problem-solving. Students aiming for competitive exams like GATE or government jobs need to rely on self-study or external coaching. Library resources support the academic structure to an extent, but access to online databases or research journals is limited. Overall, academics at BMIET serve the purpose for a passing degree, but additional efforts are needed by students themselves if they want to build strong careers. It’s an average academic environment suitable for students who are self-motivated.
Placement at BMIET Sonipat is one of the average aspects of the college. A limited number of companies visit the campus, mostly small-scale IT or local firms offering modest packages. The average placement package ranges between 2 to 3.5 LPA, with very few students landing jobs in reputed MNCs. Core companies for mechanical, civil, or electrical branches rarely visit, and students from these streams often find it tough to get placed through college efforts. Computer Science and IT students have relatively better chances due to demand in the software industry. The college has a placement cell, but it needs to work more on industry tie-ups and soft skill training. Students have to prepare on their own or take help from off-campus drives to get better opportunities. Internships are not guaranteed and depend mostly on student initiative. While the college provides placement training sessions, aptitude and communication skills training are basic and need improvement. Overall, BMIET can help you get a starting point in your career, especially if you're from IT, but it's not the place to rely completely on for high-end placements. Students who actively participate in projects and self-learn have better chances off-campus.
In terms of value for money, BMIET offers a reasonably affordable engineering education. The college fee structure is moderate compared to other private engineering colleges in Haryana. Hostel and food charges are also manageable, making it a suitable option for middle-income families. However, the return on investment depends largely on the student's efforts. Since placements are not highly lucrative, it may take time to recover the financial investment through the first job. The college does provide a degree and an engineering environment, but students need to look beyond the curriculum for skill development and certifications. Those who are proactive in learning through online platforms, internships, and projects can make the most of what the college offers. BMIET is a decent option for those who want to pursue an engineering degree without incurring heavy debt, especially if they plan on preparing for government jobs, further studies, or joining family businesses. It may not offer high-end exposure, but for the cost, the basic academic and residential facilities are justified. In short, it's not a bad investment, especially for students who understand that success will depend more on self-effort than college support.
Campus life at BMIET is decent but relatively low-key. The college has a disciplined atmosphere with moderate freedom for students. There are occasional cultural fests, technical events, and sports days, but these are not on a very large or vibrant scale. Clubs and societies exist but are not very active throughout the year. The student crowd is mostly from nearby cities and towns, creating a semi-urban environment. Hostel life is average, with basic facilities and shared rooms. There are separate hostels for boys and girls with decent security. Students often hang out in common areas, canteen, or the campus lawns. There’s limited nightlife or hangout spots around the college, which keeps the campus more study-focused. Events like fresher’s party and farewell do happen, but they are simple. For entertainment, students mostly rely on mobile, laptops, or visits to Sonipat city. While there’s no strong college fest culture, the atmosphere is safe and focused on academics. Students who want a quiet, distraction-free environment may find it suitable. Overall, campus life is okay—not too boring but not very happening either. It depends on how involved you are in making your own college experience enjoyable.
The college infrastructure is well-maintained and student-friendly. Classrooms are spacious with proper ventilation and smart boards. The library is well-stocked with both academic and reference books. Labs are equipped with the necessary tools and computers are regularly updated. The campus is clean and has good Wi-Fi connectivity. There are also recreational areas, seminar halls, and a decent canteen facility.
The academic environment of the college is quite strong. The curriculum is regularly updated to match industry standards. Most faculty members are knowledgeable and supportive. Classes are conducted regularly and assignments help in understanding the subjects better. There is a good balance between theory and practical learning. Internal assessments and exams are taken seriously, which keeps students on track. Overall, the academics provide a solid foundation for future growth.
The placement cell is quite active and brings in reputed companies from various sectors. Many students get placed in IT, core, and analytics roles with decent packages. The college provides training sessions, mock interviews, and aptitude classes to prepare students. While top offers are mostly bagged by high performers, even average students get opportunities with proper guidance. Internships are also facilitated through the college.
Considering the fee structure and the facilities provided, the college offers good value for money. The quality of teaching, campus infrastructure, and placement support make the investment worthwhile. Various workshops, seminars, and technical events add to the learning experience. For the amount paid, the exposure and opportunities offered are reasonable and beneficial for career growth.
Campus life is lively and engaging with a mix of academic and extracurricular activities. Various clubs and student organizations actively conduct events, fests, and competitions. The environment is friendly and inclusive, encouraging students to explore their interests beyond academics. The campus is spacious, clean, and has good hangout spots. Overall, it provides a balanced experience of learning and enjoyment.
The college supports overall development through various seminars, hackathons, and industrial visits. It also encourages students to take part in research and innovation. The peer group is helpful, and the environment pushes you to grow personally and professionally. It’s a great place for students who are self-driven and looking for opportunities to learn.

Placement are excellent as the they provide full assistance in it. They help students in getting prepared for the interview to perform well by arranging mock interview and group discussions so that students can get familiar with the rounds
Infrastructure in BMIET is average, not having any sports ground for outdoor sports like football or cricket which is a big missing thing but other things like auditorium is good maintained and canteen food is of average quality with not many choices in menu.
Studying BTech Computer Science Engineering and quality of teaching i recieved through out my course is not upto the mark, the teachers and students are just running before maintained minimum attendance percentage which is 75 and many books in the book bank are as old as of 1999.
You should not expect any placement through the college if you are not one of the toppers in the college as the numbers of students placed through the college is very low ad you should only try for placements through other modes.
the B Tech course fees in the college is almost appropriate in while compared to other colleges affiliated to the same university but still the 85k fees too much for the college experience you gain there.
