Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) is a full-time four-year undergraduate degree course offered by Assam University, Silchar.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates for admission to the FIRST SEMESTER of TDC (CBCS) shall be required to have passed the Higher Secondary (+2) or its equivalent Examinations conducted by any recognized University/ Board/Council, which shall be treated as qualifying examinations. Provided that candidates for admission into the specific program of study shall also possess such other qualifying conditions as may be prescribed by the University or concerned college.
No candidate shall be admitted to the FIRST SEMESTER of the TDC (CBCS) program of study unless he/she has passed the qualifying examination;
No candidate shall be allowed to offer Botany/ Chemistry/ Mathematics/ Physics/Zoology as one of the courses/subjects unless he/she has passed the concerned subject in the qualifying examination;
In case of selection of eligible candidates for admission to any TDC (CBCS) program of study, the colleges shall follow the Statutory Reservation Policy of the Government including the Rules and Regulations prescribed therein.

College Infrastructure

The cachar college has basic infrastructure, facilities, and the classrooms are spacious but could be upgraded with modern equipment like smart boards. The library is good it has necessary books, which is helpful during exams and projects. It has a canteen and good food is there. There is no wifi. Living spaces are clean.

College Infrastructure

the college campus is not that vast. It is a small campus with minimum facilities. We do have library, labs, hostel, and canteen facility. However, the college is situated in the town of silchar so you will get everything at walkable distance.

College Infrastructure

The Cachar college in Silchar has very good infrastructure and these infrastructure are maintained regularly by the college administration.More smart classrooms should be introduced by the college administration
