the library has built up a rich collection of all branches of Science, Arts, and Commerce with over 27000 books and other documents and has grown in strength in providing services to its user community. Reference books of various kinds have definitely improved the quality of the library. National and regional newspapers, peer-reviewed journals, and a good number of periodicals/magazines are available for the use of the students along with a spacious and relaxing reading room. It is a hybrid library accommodating both print and e-resources. The library has connected with INFLIBNET’s N-LIST Consortium (National Library and Information Services Infrastructure for Scholarly Content) supported by the DoNER Ministry of the Govt. of India. It also supports accessing a huge number of open-access e-resources. The library provides a conducive environment to the end users with a separate building covering 3351 Sq.Ft. and centrally located with easy access. 

The College  Central Computer Laboratory caters to the needs of the students of degree programs who have practical papers on computer applications. The Centre is also used for in-house training of the faculty on a rotational basis. With Broadband internet facilities the CCB is all set to be LAN compliant once the fast-going automation process in Central Library, administrative wing, and academic departments are given a final touch.

The College has well-equipped hostel facilities for girls only with limited intake capacity. Students desirous of availing of the facility need to apply during admission. Selection and all other related matters rest at the discretion of the Hostel Committee. The residents of the hostel shall be regulated by the Guidelines for Resident Students. Hostel accommodation is provided only to bona fide students of Cachar College, subject to availability.

The College has a well-furnished wet canteen which remains open during class hours and examination days throughout the year.

The college has a one-room Health Centre on a modest scale exists in the College. A trained nurse is posted there. Emergency first aid facilities are available. However, an official arrangement has been established with a nearby private nursing home where an on-demand-round-the-clock medical service can be hired.

The College always proved to be a spotter's paradise for sporting talents. In group events like football, volleyball, and cricket and also in individual events like track and field and athletics, Cachar College students have excelled in inter-club, inter-state, and in some cases, national-level competitions. Even though the College does not have a playground or infrastructure for outdoor sports, through its membership in the District Sports Association, budding talents do not go unnoticed. Close linkage of the College with the DSA has proved to be a very good arrangement for spotting the talents of the College and placing them in the right orbit.
